The game shown in the video was SWTOR, you should play it!
The Mandalorians were definitely at their best during the Old Republic timeline.
Please watch the Clone Wars, it’s phenomenal
And honestly, what ELSE is there to do after watching the entire Mandalorian series anyway lol right?! I mean, you've undoubtedly already paid for Disney+. Why NOT spend the time waiting for season two on catching up on all that GREAT Star Wars content?! 👍😊
TWSTF 8 tru
2003 one too
@@twstf8905 There is another clone wars.
That was a lot of "Manda Lore".
You need to stop
Ba dum dum PSSSH 🥁
Mando lore*
"What's that from?"
The third cinematic trailer for the Star Wars: The Old Republic game titled "Deceived". They're old but you might wanna consider doing reacts to them. "Return" and "Hope" were the first two and make up a sort of bare bones story arc. And they're all pretty good.
Greg's got the best curls out here
The clone wars goes into a lot about the Mandalorian culture and its very interesting
Knights of the Old Republic I & II tells some history.
I played those games so much as a kid, never really payed attention to the story, but as soon as I heard Darth Revan and Malek, I was like... wwaaaaiiiiitttt.... that sounds familiar.
Anything written by drew karpashyan is good. The Darth Bane duology is a good read.
@@jjkcharlie Wait, isn't that a trilogy?
@@jamesgarretson2922 no. The old republic, takes place around that time as far as I know. It's not a direct sequel.
@@jjkcharlie I meant the Bane books. That was a trilogy. Path of Destruction, Rule of Two and Dynasty of Evil or something like that.
Mandalorian History is insane
people in star wars didn't even expand the whole galaxy and there's still unknown dangers in the unexplored parts and out galaxy, pretty its hard to even travel to other galaxy's
Right off the bat, a bad$$ line from the destroyer.
I’ve been watching since I was 11 now I’m 16 👍🏻
The game that you guys saw in the video is a free MMORPG called "Star Wars: The Old Republic" You get to play your own Star wars story in multiple classes and customize your own characters. I think you'd love the game.
Knowing how much lore there is to Star Wars, I just KNOW we are going to be privileged to see new Star Wars stories being told in the future.
You guys should really do a reaction of “The 501st Our Duty 50k special” video
I think there's gonna be a ton of things in Mandalorians Legends content that'll really catch your eye XD Really enjoyed this reaction video, I can certainly agree there is so much about the Mandalorian culture that is appealing.
But since you were wondering about the 300 years gap *MetaNerdz did a great video but he did kinda left some details out* To explain one detail, at least somewhere after KOTOR 2, no idea when but it was somepoint Mandalore the Preserver met his end in battle *No other specifics other in SWTOR, you find his skull on a Imperial cargo ship, he had appeared to have died from a blow to his head that cracked his head open.* And well not much is known from there sadly. There was actually lot of complications coming from the factors that lead to Mandalore the Vindicated, the truth that came that the last Mand'alor was not only somebody got lot of their own people killed fighting in wars for the Sith Empire that cared very little for them like the Blockade or other battles that costed them but to then learn he was a puppet all along? Oh yeah, Artus Lok set an example when he killed but the problem came that he wanted to continue in the alliance with the Sith Empire and wage war against the Galactic Republic, now there was of course Meta explained there and then there was some other Mandalorians were beginning suspect that their new leader may actually had different agendas in mind beyond the Sith Empire but whatever case it wasn't necessarily popular decision and it got three results, those eager to face the legendary Jedi Knights for honor and glory, or those after 30 years of war felt the need to stay more neutral wise and seeking glory elsewhere *Artus didn't oppose this so longest they didn't oppose his leadership, just so longest their actually maintaining themselves as Mandalorians given he held a strong dislike towards the arrogant snob Tarro Blood and the bloodthirsty Clan Varad, but there are limits to what he's gonna accept* And then finally is what lead to one of the earliest of Mandalorian Civil Wars, the Crusader's Schism.
"Once an honored leader of a respected clan, the man known as Jicoln Cadera is now nothing but a specter--the lingering memory of a dark time for the Mandalorians.
When the warrior Artus claimed the title of Mandalore and called the clans to fight alongside the Empire, Jicoln refused. He would not serve the enemy his ancestors had spent generations waiting for--the Empire that he was born to oppose--and his defiance incited others to rally to his side. The gauntlet had been thrown, and only bloodshed would determine the future of the clans." Codex. Clan Kelborn, Clan Itera, Clan Ordo, and other align Clans from KOTOR 2 fought with Jicoln Cadera's rebellion but sadly, history ultimately favored Artus Lok and he ruthlessly crushed this rebellion and thus where his title "The Vindicated" comes from, he destroyed the Rebellion and all that was left was women and children mostly, they were accepted back into other Clans at lowest rank, Jicoln himself was defeated in duel and his once close friendship with Artus Lok now completely destroyed *They shared some very close history that goes quite far back, very private between them* Artus swore he would destroy his son and with that Jicoln was exiled to Taris. After that Mand'alor's rule was quite secured and the alliance with the Sith Empire did continue to bring certain benefits and Mandalorians really earned themselves as Jedi killers in this era, but wasn't all perfect as mentioned here Clan Varad going rogue and acts done by Terror Brigade, there was also still some Mandalorians choosing to oppose the Sith Empire *One was wanted for killing two Sith Lords in Kass City*, whatever or not Artus declare them dar'manda or not is debatable, and for whatever reasons, Artus didn't carry out his promise and Jicoln Cadera's son was left one of the last of Clan Cadera, Torian Cadera *Yeah he's pretty much like the Mandalorian version of Jon Snow* Overall, Artus was actually quite highly respected and even revered by his Mandalorians despite the few that still continue to have disagreements with him or opposing the Sith Empire like Akaavi Spar.
And apologies for the long comment 😂 I get too caught up with Mandalorian lore XD
also...boba didn't die in the return of the jedi....he used the fuel in his jet pack to blow up the sarlacc and escape...
It's from star wars the old republic
Ya’ll really need to check out clone wars, if you make videos, you can guarantee i’ll watch ‘em, and i’m sure others will too
Nice vid once again guys. Also, I will turn 27 on january 1st.
Have you guys seen the 'If Google Was a Guy' videos? I highly recommend it :)
That's the game
Dang is greg flexing? cause them arms be lookin 💪
The old republic gives thanks to the lore :)
Might makes right, every time. Never forget that, or you will serve as a permanent reminder one way or another....
Greg alba looks like the guy who tied down the mick in the television series the mick...
We noticed ed Harris at the same time
Wow. Awesome video and great reaction 👊 hope you guys consider watching Clone Wars in the future. Love you guys and all you do!!!
You can make a religion out of this
Ricois Sounds a little like satanism
Nice reference
That reference really does wurtz anywhere
i wonder, are republic commandos mandalorians that joined the republic? their helmets look pretty similar
i'd suggest you guys do a SW:TOR (star wars : the old republic) playthrough of the "bountyhunter" storyline, afaik you get a whole bunch of lore in the cutscenes while it is pretty much free to play til you reach lvl60, which should conclude the main story, atleast it was like that back then, first thing i played back when the game came out, was a clone trooper that rose to the rank of Commando (classified missions only, thats why there are no spin-off movies of them out there, see also the classic "star wars: republic commando" game), great stuff to explore :)
This video will be apart of UA-cam LORE
AMERICA, F### YEAH!
so if i'm correct here, greg from this time on, atleast watched the clone wars. Respect.
Watch the clone wars!
And the other star wars TV series
Because what ELSE could you be doing with your Disney plus subscription while waiting for the Mandalorian season 2?!? 👍😊
Nice next you need to watch the history of the Sith
Y’all should watch the complete canon Star Wars timeline video by Star Wars Explained
I prefer the mandos from the EU. it is basically the same without the dark saber and the clone wars lore. it also goes on to the point where boba fett is like 80-90 years old, has a daughter and is Mandalore. not to mention personally training Jaina Solo in the ways to kill jedi and sith. I really feel like they borked over the mandos with the clone wars, in terms of the culture.
inszel never really liked those books having Boba be an old ass Mandalore
@@Zhicano it makes sense to some degree, he is known as the best warrior around. though honestly both others around him and boba himself are constantly questioning his position, so i can't blame you there.
agreed, i love cranky, old man grandpa Boba. Its kind of sweet and funny and also sad in a way^^
This isn't it for the legends mando' ade
Boba Fett survived the scarlac pit...and become Mandalore and brought peace and become allied to the new republic and fought many wars with like Skywalker...
How do you guys not know durge? He fought against obi wan during the early days of the clone wars
Ah the expanded universe
why watch if your just gonna talk over everything
it wouldn't be a reaction if they were silent would it
Chill, they barely talked
Please watch Clone Wars it’s some of the best Star wars content out there
React on sith characters
That is not how Boba Fett Died.
no resident Evil 3 reaction?
Can you react to metanerdz cis droids
Pls react to Clone Wars and Rebels
In the new Canon, Jango and Boba are not Mandalorians.
Jabba yeah. They used old Expanded Universe material, now dubbed "Legends"
Wooooow
@@nivaldomonte5441 yeah... sad, but yeah.
It sucks -.-
Is this actually canon now though?
No, most of video is EU
Actually it is now. Especially with Clone Wars, Rebels, and Mandalorian
well, most stuff in the old Republic/Pre republic Era has not been contradicted directly so far and Rebels, Clonewars and Mandalorian does refrence many of those elements so most of it might still be accurate. Not much is confirmed tho really^^
Firstttt
Liar, no proof.
Just watch clone wars
capitalism works in a similar way. the strong gets stronger and the week are dominated and ruler over... so we have this already....
2
I hope someone sends Astartes to them someday to react, but preferably when the original creator gets his youtube channel back after that crappy hacker stole it and deleted it.
Jango Fett and Boba Fett are no longer Mandalorians based on new Disney Canon. They retconned all of Jango's Mandalorian adoption and now he's just a bounty hunter who stole armor.
You are wrong it was not Disney who retconned Jango and Boba's Mandalorian Heritage, It was none other than George Lucas himself during Star Wars The Clone Wars show, You can't put this one on Disney
@@2apocalypsex except he was adopted by Mandalorians in other old canon stuff and the Mandalorians on Mandalore didn't know that. That story was retconned by the Disney buy out.
Lol y'all commentary is cringe as fuck, but so is the idea of doing all this research on a video
Boi, your profile pic is cringe.
