Nice City, Mate! Some points I want to add:
- The roundabouts (both) of the campus are still double-way ;)
- Your water supply is messed because you pumped up all the river and one of the pumps does only get water occasionally
- You might want to give the train lines individal platforms in the big station (you got enough)

Biffa to fix the blue holes of death on your bridges, open the road anarchy and select on the top, raised road. Then upgrade the road you have with the original type and use the upgrade tool. When you do this it will make the bridge into a raised road skin and it will alter the terrain properly. it has the issue due to the fact that it is trying to force a different terrain modification type for the road that is not suited to the type of road it actually is. (edit) hope this explanation helps.

Been like this for 5 episodes.
Hehe, for 5 years probably.
To be fair he does regularly solve bits here and there off camera, but yeah it can be frustrating. My biggest one is where he forces lanes and in that way closes off entire routes and streets and exits from cars because they are not allowed to go that way anymore.
Now both roundabouts in the university area are two-way!

Just some notes about your multi-platform station:
- I would leave the tracks nearest to the outside free from internal lines - hopefully intercity lines will stop just there and not contest capacity with your internal lines. (If that doesn't help: I think there is some mod where you can define per track whether intercity trains are allowed.)
- You can put two lines on each pair of tracks, one left and one right. (Currently you have only three lines, so it's fine, but in total there are 12 tracks, so you can have 10 internal lines + intercity.)
I was about to post this too! I assume the shortest route the station will be the one that, either way watch for awhile and confirm which platform the intercity trains use.
I'd also put in some direct lines between your external stations, not just have them all go to the central multiplatform one so its a quicker travel time and more people will use trains then.
I am not a fan of this new lighting thing. The greens are severely muted, like a desert map. I like the greens, I miss the greens

On the big oval-bout you’re not letting cars already on it switch to an exit lane
3:47 by changing the budget manually you disabled autobudged for that specific type. you can reenable it by clicking the checkback next to the budget slider. Once its checked, autobudget will do its thing again

The way to get the blue under the railway is to update it to a bridge, because at the moment it is technically still set to ground level, so will not load the bridge assets and thus glitches out the terrain
Btw I built a giant roundabout in my city to ease traffic, but renamed it in your honor as the “Biffa Plays Memorial Roundabout”

For the blue part of the train bridge, you can covert that section to 'elevated' and it works fine. it's a trick i do.

About the blue gabs under your railway-bridge:
you can make it a bridge with anarchy and the blue is gone. Or you can use props like trees or billboards or whatever you like to hide the gabs.

biffa to fix the glitch hole just do this: 1. select train track tool 2. in anarchy select force section to bridge 3. upgrade/replace the track. :3

Hey Biffa! Just FYI - If you want to fix those sections of rail where you lowered the road below, just upgrade those sections to elevated rail. That will get rid of the weird glitching bits below :)
Rail bridges would give you the neat girder look too
to get rid of the blue, force bridge segments in in the road mod menu (forget which mod)
You need to upgrade the track to an elevated track when you make the road go under. that will stop the glitch

Yo Biffa, I think the problem with the area in the corner is that it doesn't have its own access to the highway. So they are all funneled through the (former) industry area.
Also, your farming industry area got hit by your auto bulldozer mod which removes building under water when left on default settings.

I wish the "modern city center" buildings came in non-commercial. Or even better, if they could do mixed buildings that had half residential half commercial, like a lot of cities do where the upper floors of buildings are housing or offices for stuff
Are you trying to build a broken city on purpose? You are making the exact same mistakes that so many cities you get sent suffer from as well (and you don't point out). The residential area close to the teafarm area has almost no connections to the rest of the city, and the main connection is *through* the farm area. No wonder traffic is a mess in a just 10k pop city.
20:15 Be careful about the lane management between those roundabouts. The AI knows it can't switch lane on the roundabout so it will most likely only use 1 of the lanes between the roundabouts. 20:43, see them diving into the lane that matches the inner lane of the roundabout? "No lane switching" won't fix that. It'll only push the problem onto the highway.

That's a lot of traffic going all the way around the ovalabout - I think a teeny tiny bypass might be useful there.
if you are going to have a road going down and a rail gove over it. remove the rail line then lower the street/road, then place the rail line.. that way you do not have that 'blue' showing up under the rail line across the road.

These modular buildings are awesome.
16:19 The station used is an End station, so you have to extend it the other way around.
When you use Move it mod for lowering the road , change the railway track to a elevated track there.
Also change the locations of your water pumps so the water fluctuations can stop.

Biffa, to fix the issue you have had when drawing a road or railroad over another road.. the blue ripping under the overpass, just using fine road tools, change that section to forced elevated, to make a kind of bridge. The game only does that when the road is supposed to be attached to the road. If it is meant to be a bridge or elevated it won't do that.
Love your channel and entertaining videos! but hey! two cents here to contribute... you are trading traffic jams of the road type for railway hell. There are two axiomatic rules in train design... 1. merger rails need to be wide enough to fit at least one full train and 2. Keep cargo and passenger lines separate! (and add 3. keep internal and external lines apart) With 10k cims you won't probably see a problem, as soon as the city grows fixing that railway system will be another whole series of videos! Cheers!

You really should disconnect the local train lines from the Intercity trains, both clog each other up and it gets really bad. Like gridlock bad. I noticed that with my own city, but when I gave the passenger Intercity trains an own route to a pseudo Intercity-only platform it worked better, it also helped I added an underground express route for passing trains so they don't interact in any funny way with my train interchanges.
You also might want to try building the interchanges with one way rails so trains don't cut across, a bit like the vannila T-shaped interchange.
But I love it you are reacting to commentary input so quickly, that is fantastic. But do you really want the roundabouts near the university to be two way roads or is this just a little bit of trolling?
And the hotel balcony is giving the tourists a nice view upon the hospital, nothing is more pretty than ambulances.
One thing that I noticed is that your put your taxes on the same percentage for everything, but the high density zones are actually wiling to pay up to 13% instead of the maximum 12% for the rest. And you tax-trick works both ways if you have a lot of money but need demand you can drop your taxes to 1% and suddenly you have a great influx of people and businesses, that saved me once, when my city was hit by a massive death wave, with lots of abandoned buildings but 18 Million on the bank so I spent 2 Million in losses for more demand and it worked, now everything is running basically fine, exept for the traffic that doesn't go higher than 55% normally, managed 60% once but that over again.

2:00 use the road tool (not which mod its part of) between the straight road and the toggle menu. then use either the bridge or the upwards arrow and update the train tracks over the highway.
maybe move the nodes so the bridge kinda matches the gap
or use quay anarchy along the road on both sides for some nice sunken walls
Train network is messy af. No direct route, all convoluted makes for inefficient network. The distances are too short for trains to be effective. I think a metro would have been much more efficient, if you have unlocked it, of course.
@@ymeshulin People can change alright, but it is the route themselves that give me problems, they are convoluted as Hell. If the central station was on the side of the city where everybody arrives, the spreading would be easier.

That area in the ZW (next to the industy) only has a single way in and out for non-public transport. If you give them some option for getting away that huge congestion on the ovalabout should reduce a lot.
To fix traffic I suggest you create a 4 way interchange down the highway. Currently all the people trying to go to the other areas have to get through industrial traffic and go all the way around the roundabout.

you kep making the same mistake, you always only allow them to pick there lane when they come on but that forces them to either take the next exit or one after a node where they can change lanes. you also must enable lane changing for people that want to exit so they can take the shortest road instead of being forced to take a specific exit.
Roundabouts should be one way, right? Now you used normal two way roads on both of those roundabouts. 🧐

The train was such a rollercoaster. Weird.
The traffic is related to the oblongabout, it just reached maximum capacity. Time for some better interchange. Cars in industrial zone will cause problems, would be better to send there trucks. Soon the industry returns, and the combined traffic will hit you.
Or you may connect the quarters on BOTH sides to the roads leading to the oblongabout, but make them a one way system. That way the whole quarter becomes a part of a huge roundabout, which will keep part of the traffic off the central one, reducing the load.
I don’t know if anyone's said this, but making the bit of the railway over the road a bridge/elevated will stop the terrain from ripping

Yes, that's how I solved it aswell. Maybe you need to select "elevated" when upgrading. Dunno if the game chooses it on it's own

22:46 I haven't watched the rest, but in case you haven't figured out. Yeah, your generic industry got wiped out because people were not interested in working there. The result: the shops of your town have to import all the goods that they sell now, thus the huge infux of trucks from the outside.
It is possible he accidentally disallowed anyone ever from going there by disabling line switching on the "ovalabout"
Isn't it also possible to make a district of people not allowed to go to school so that there are uneducated workers for farms and whatnot?
You can fix that simply by converting that rail into a bridge. It will normally merge the bridge with the ground. I make sunken freeways and railroads so converting the overpass into a bridge would help fix that...
Now that he's lowered the road I think if he just deletes that bit of track and rebuilds it'll automatically be a bridge because of the embankments on either side. Might be wrong but easy enough to try.
