And why should only white people from the United States be considered American,while minorities have a prefix? The proper term is United States citizens, as everything in this country is officially referred to as the United States. The president is referred to as the POTUS( president of the United States) the countries constitution is referred to as the United States constitution: we the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union... what are the branches of the military referred as? The American army, or the United States Army? All people from the American continent are Americans( both the north and southern regions.
Funny how all those trump supporters that called them self patriots will not watch this. As an immigrant I feel that watching this very important hearing is patriotic.

@@halcyonataractic8623 they're more ambivalent than they should be. One reason my brother in law told me is since they've been gunning for trump since before he was in office, its hard to take the hearrings seriously even though he doesnt doubt many of the allegations.

I couldn’t agree more. Having said that, depending on how many of his constituents support Trump, it may be difficult for him to win re-election. Trump has branded him a “RINO,” which in Trump-land seems to be even worse than being a “Dem.” He has definitely earned my respect as one of the few willing to accept the facts and stand up for the truth as supported by the evidence. I’m sure it would have been much easier and more lucrative for him to go along with the party line. He’s a good man.

In my observations politicians and other state employees rarely take a stand against a person, and a president isnt all that infulential or as powerful as ppl tend to think. So generally speaking what ppl are realy doing is appearing to take a stand while making themselves known as an actor for the party. Anything that appears virtuous is usually by accident.

The buffoonery, irony, and bumbling absurdity are all there, but it doesn't hit home the way that a light-spirited comedy does given that these are REAL things happening at the highest levels of a government that, ideally, should be cool, collected, responsible, and competent. It's more like watching a dystopian suspense film unfold.

Why didn't the Department of Justice remove Jeff Clark when he disobeyed orders to leave the president's office alone, that he didn't have authority to be talking about these issues with the White House and without Justice Department elder officials? Why didn't he even receive warnings of removal or demotion if not fired?
Didn’t you watch the hearing? Clark was senate confirmed- only trump could fire him. His bosses certainly did reprimand him the first few times he lied to them and disobeyed. Then, Clark informed his boss that trump was putting him in his position. We saw how that turned out.

I'd like to know if documents that Trump took to Mar-A-Lardo have wound up in the hands of the Jan6 Committee and/or DOJ. What did Trump do with those docs during the several months he had them in his possession? Intent? Destroy evidence? Hmmm.
Who is in charge of security at the capital building? It is the master of arms, he was guilty of dereliction of duty by not providing the security needed when he was warned beforehand, so this is the cover up taking place, the master of arms works directly for the speaker of the house, who happen to be Nancy Pelosi, it is her fault this took place she failed to provide security that she is charged with maintaining through the master of arms, no wonder they are no republicans of the committee

The widespread backwardness of our economy, increments in the price of gas, and rate of unemployment is becoming inconducive. cryptocurrency is down, consumer consumption is rumor to be down big time! What is wrong with you? The Republican congress want NO investigations regarding this. They were looking for pardons, well aware of their participation in the lies.
It's not unanswered. The main reason that National Guard wasn't brought in was because Trump and his bootlicking cronies had publicly and on multiple occasions discussed the idea of declaring martial law, which means that they would have weaponized troops for their own self-serving purposes.
