I liked the wood strat. Probably would have made the plow for the port the priority but green probably would have still been able to cut you off as you had farther to go but you maybe could have recovered better.

@DandyDrew Just curious. Has anyone in your career ever cheated on Catan? I imagine someone not giving up their cards for a mono and pretending they didn’t have it.
I haven’t heard of that specific example. I know there has been some questionable situations and potential in-person collusion that has happened.
I have definitely ran into games where people(or a person) is cheating with 2 accounts. Sucks but it’s very rare!

Looking back, would you prioritize the wood port as a first settle next time?
Yeah that wasn’t a bad idea. I think taking the center before someone else does is also valid. I could have also gone to the 311 and not on the 9 and used that extra road to get to the port faster. That might have been the slightly more optimal case considering I would have the 10 and 11 wheat which is more than enough.
Can you explain why your second was 3911 instead of 6115?
Why didn’t you drop the last road in the center rather than below? Blue wouldn’t have been able to take it from you I think. Sad
How would that make any difference to his road length?
