My tongue didn't hurt or feel tired at all. Am I doing it wrong? But I was looking at a mirror while doing this, and I seem to be doing these exercises correctly.
I compare it to working out at the gym. Some people will struggle with a 20lb dumbbell and some won't. Assuming you're doing the technique correctly, it's likely that these muscles are already built up for the reps in this video and you may need more reps in order to feel it.
I am going to try your tips. I don't stutter while talking but my tongue gets twisted every time I speak for a long time. I hope this tips will help me to deliver my speeches more fluently and clearly. Wish me luck🥺
Hey I have a question. I have a cavity in my left molar since like 4-5 years, (IK i should get it treated but it never spread to other teeth so I got used to it) For these 4-5 years I have used mostly my right side of the mouth to chew food. Could it be that I don't have clear speach because I use only one side of my jaw to chew food? Edit - few mins into the video and I got the answer. Thanks you very much ♥
1: touch your tongue tip on ur front teeth(lower side) 2: when you want it to go up it's like you are pushing it out(taking your tongue out) but not removing your tongue tip from back of the teeth. Also open your mouth slightly when trying to take it out and close it slightly when taking it back Watch video instructions again and try in front of mirror Let me know if it helped u
Thanks, this is great! Therapy like this is also helpful for stutterers. Do you have videos on that? And one more thing: should I be careful to swallow my own tongue if I curl back 2 much? :O
Hi Tina, Thank you so much for the video. My 8 year old's speech needs improvement. We were able to correct his Ls. We will practice some more. I will post my updates in a week. I am eager to use the exercises daily.
Excellent & very helpful video. I am learning French, and sometimes while reading out loud I struggl with my jaw muscles, but your tips helped. However I have trouble doing the 3rd exercise, with "th" one, I am little confused with throwing the air out. But anyway, thanks !
Jaw muscles are a major cause of speech disruption. I talk about it a little here (ua-cam.com/video/P0-gSkrV3XE/v-deo.html), but hopefully you're also doing pressure point massaging. In case my explanation was confusing in the video, the "th" exercise is to hold the sound, and thus you'd be "throwing the air out" in the exercise. Hopefully that helps!
i speak like i'm mumbling or cursing someone in a hushed tone, and it's very aggravating because people can't seem to understand wtf i'm saying. i just started to work on the flow of my voice into something more of an articulate manner so thank you sm for this! it gave me informative tips 😫🥰
Hi Lady Tina! This is my second day now. Thank you so much for sharing my comment on your social. :) I have one question about the scraping tongue to the back part, i just can't seem to scrape it back, my tongue goes up instead of back and flat as yours. Any tips?
That's fine, the point isn't necessarily to successfully scrape, but rather attempt to do so and therefore exercise the correct muscles. Kind of like doing any other exercise, do the motion and the strength and flexibility still come over time.👌
You're such an inspiration! Thank You for the positive vibes, for the smiles and for the practical tips! The video is awesome. Your voice is loud and clear. One of my problem is I have no breath while I speak, the voice is very low, and weak, what's your advice?

It worked! I just practicing this for a minute then when tried to speak some of sentences there's difference. Hooray!!!
Hey I have a question. I have a cavity in my left molar since like 4-5 years, (IK i should get it treated but it never spread to other teeth so I got used to it)
For these 4-5 years I have used mostly my right side of the mouth to chew food. Could it be that I don't have clear speach because I use only one side of my jaw to chew food?
Edit - few mins into the video and I got the answer. Thanks you very much ♥
Saw a huge change in the way I spoke right after am coming everyday to this
I'm having a hard time doing the vowel exercises. Any tips on how to do it properly?
check the mirror as you do it
1: touch your tongue tip on ur front teeth(lower side)
2: when you want it to go up it's like you are pushing it out(taking your tongue out) but not removing your tongue tip from back of the teeth.
Also open your mouth slightly when trying to take it out and close it slightly when taking it back
Watch video instructions again and try in front of mirror
Let me know if it helped u
This is what I need to improve myself. For sure, I'm gonna follow this and become my guide.
Let us know how you're improving!
@@TinaLeder Sure.
Thanks, this is great! Therapy like this is also helpful for stutterers. Do you have videos on that? And one more thing: should I be careful to swallow my own tongue if I curl back 2 much? :O
I don't have any videos specifically addressing stutters. These exercises are generally safe to do done properly so I wouldn't worry.👌
Thanks for Sharing this. My son has been struggling with issues and we were looking at how to help.
I would suggest visiting a speech therapist
@@angadsingh9314 we have considered that but he is an extremely shy and introverted boy and I'm honestly unsure how he'd be able to handle it.
Hi Tina, Thank you so much for the video. My 8 year old's speech needs improvement. We were able to correct his Ls. We will practice some more. I will post my updates in a week. I am eager to use the exercises daily.
I think I could do this for job interview preps
I’m coming here everyday until I master this thank u lady T
I love dedication! Don't give up and let us know how it goes.💪
Did it work so far?
Sweaty testicles yeah it’s working good so far
Thanks for exercising my tongue. You are the first person whom I followed regarding tongue exercise.
you are so vibrant
Thanks

My wisdom teeth have been effecting my speech and this has helped me just in 5 mins
Beautiful to hear!
How could the wisdom teeth effect speech?
i speak like i'm mumbling or cursing someone in a hushed tone, and it's very aggravating because people can't seem to understand wtf i'm saying. i just started to work on the flow of my voice into something more of an articulate manner so thank you sm for this! it gave me informative tips 😫🥰
I speak quite fast can u please suggest me some exercises to cure this .

i hope you can talk more on this matter.. i'm very bad at speaking even with my familiar circle..
Kind of like doing any other exercise, do the motion and the strength and flexibility still come over time.👌
Thank you very much, i see the difference when i do the tongue exercise.
I’m not sure if I did some of the exercises right but they definitely seem effective 🤗
U stutter?
@@gvarun0403 u tooter?
@@knightforbes9545 Wtf u talking about?
You're such an inspiration! Thank You for the positive vibes, for the smiles and for the practical tips! The video is awesome. Your voice is loud and clear. One of my problem is I have no breath while I speak, the voice is very low, and weak, what's your advice?
This is exactly my problem R and L’s…having difficulty saying Girl 😂
