Nice to note the new generation is getting out the shackles of blind beliefs, accepting the physiology of humans (specially females ♀ ) and speaking openly on how to manage it. I like the detailed research which has gone into this. You have wonderfully debunked many myths of various cultures while claiming you will not talk about them. You didn't talk about them !!! 😉 I like the idea of the Journal... Listen, monitor the physiological changes, record them, get the rhythm, manage the Emotional and Physical well being. Are the girls allowed to perform in Temples during their periods? This doubt has been bugging me all along after seeing the large group of girls dancing in temples during festivals.

In my opinion, it is completely fine. Menstruation is a biological process. It shouldn't become a cause for losing on an opportunity to dance.
