Posting all crystal tear locations in couple minutes when HD version processes. One tear negates magic damage 100% for 15 seconds. Get it and pop it b4 running across. Then kill solo archer...done. should be live on channel within an hr tops 2

Not sprinting up the ladder was killing me
i have died more times on that circler part because of that extra step from standing up after landing on it, then almost every boss combined on the game.

You can avoid the first ladder entirely if you just use torrent to jump to the branch on the right then make it to the enemy with the fire pole, also after that you don’t need him, you can use your run against the right of the wall and make the jumps that way

There's also a beetle that carries a Somber Smithing Stone 8 on the way to the tower from his exact grace. For me it was sitting on a branch.

Escalating the tower from its outside walls to its treacherous basement was quite a parkouring challenge.
On my initial success, I was way too underpowered to face the boss. Returned much later and was psyched to finally get him!
That was my cool ER story.
My hands were so sweaty doing thing lol. Instead of going on the tree to the left I ran up the other one on Torrent and skipped the first guy/ladder

I got to the last spot before watching this and thought, "I know once I jump on this it will break and I'll fall too and thats too far" so I TPd out, Now i realize I would've survived that horrendous fall. I'll say it again. Fuck the platforming in this game. So inconsistent and fall damage is just whatever the developer says it is at any given time and I hate that.

True shit. Bro in real life you’d immediately die from a long fall in the end of the video. But yet some how you still survive. Don’t even get me started when you’re adventuring through the lands and you fall off a cliff similar to that fall or smaller, you’ll end up dying.

Lol I did not go the correct way. Speedrunning technique: land on top of the wooden beam for the lower elevator, and bounce onto the platform next to it
You can take the guy in plain view with a longbow. Move to the right and you can just see a body and the shield of a guard, tempt him out with an arrow, wait till he drops his guard and kill him. Go left and drop down, then you can you a bot on the crouching figure by the ladder. When on the tower, go right and collect from the body.
What does he drop?

Love the game but absolutely hate scenarios where you have to make these leaps of faith that would absolutely kill you in any other scenario. I thought the basement will be accessible via a teleporter or smth.

I didn’t even know this was a thing until my second play through. I literally just found it now.
You don’t need the horse for those ledges at all. Just walk and jump them.. Way less sketchy
this is true. I did this at launch and 1ST attempt so kinda wanted to see how fast I could go and made it. After beating Elden Ring dozens of times can confirm DON'T Need Horse.

Ya could've saved 2 min by jumping straight on big branch and to the guy instead of going down, onto smaller branch, climbing 2 stairs and doing jumps to reach a place Torrent goes to in 3 seconds using double jump.
This thing drove me up the wall! Literally
I did the whole thing without using mount, would recommend it too.
You also don't need to run like I did you can simply walk on ledge, get on horse then jump; didn't know. Next time going to try just jumping; thanks.

Yes, nobody I skipped drops anything but standard rng drops.
The sword doesn't drop. I found it on a post somewhere.

I had the same problem, apparently if you do a dropping attack it'll kill you. I have no idea why.
best to get immune to drop damage talisman.

The biggest challenge of Radahn isnt his boss fight, but its his great rune

@@saulgster Great Runes are essentially what you get from the demigod bosses in game which you could equip at a site of grace. It gives you stat improvement based on whose gret rune you have on. To use a great rune, you need to pop your rune arc and it will be in effect until you die.

If you go from the center site of grace to the upper level there is big stone double door. Do you know how to open them?

Its actually very easy with torrent if you take it slow and not go 100 miles like I did

It is a shortcut, you can open it after the first elevator, you will see stairs before the cavalier and just go up

Anyone know how many runes the numen rune gives you? I have it but I don't want to use it just yet
Hero rune gives max runes of 15k. Order is 200,400,1200,1600,3200,15,000 (I belive that's all of them; sorry just spent and don't know all by name).
@@ILapTheFlash I picked up a numen rune and used it after backing up my save and it gives you 12.5k runes 😁
Got another question which is, do runes scale, so the higher you go, the more runes you get?

@@ILuvPlatz2000 generally from hardest boss fights rewards. There's probably couple locations. I don't know all since I started on release; couldn't get early copy for this one. If you need souls, I got early and mid game farming spot on channel. Still looking for end game one.
God I hate this tower so much
I don't see why from software continues to have such platforming sections. All this could be avoided by having different ways to get into and out of areas.
It's like they saw that one section with two black knight archers in ano londo and decided to put even more enemies on one small ledge and ramp up the focus on runs and jumps. Haha
Liked it, at start of game i just thought it was a another place then after getting use to game saw a way in , this kind of discovery gameplay is great theres so many puzzle type areas,

I haaaaaate this place. The controls in these games are too wonky for this kind of parkour style jumping and falling. And then to put spearmen on the ledge? They’re having a laugh. And ran out of ideas in so many parts of this game. I miss DS.

There was similar parkour in the old games you just didn't have a dedicated jump button so it couldn't be quite as elaborate. I'll gladly run through this tower 100 times instead of fighting Bed of Chaos
