- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in the game can actually survive an army made up of 14 crucible knights and their commander Godfrey, first elden lord.
All of the crucible knights in the army (5 with tree spear and 9 with greatsword) have their respective unedited scaling of ordovis and siluria.
According to the elden ring lore Godfrey, before known as Hoarah Loux, was the chosen consort and first husband of Queen Marika the Eternal, which made him first elden lord. Godfrey and Marika had three demigod children; Godwyn the Golden, and the twins, Morgott and Mohg. Godfrey led the war against the Giants, but after his last worthy opponent fell, Godfrey's warrior spirit sank and he lost the guidance of grace. His purpose now fulfilled, Marika exiled Godfrey and his warriors from the Lands Between, making him the very first Tarnished.

I appreciate how Rick holds up his sword in a guarding position, not because he actually needs to reduce the damage of incoming attacks, but because he's instructing his opponents on what to do when he attacks them, in order to give them a slight chance of surviving long enough for him swing his sword at them a second time.

it shows that you shouldn't fight a boss that heals a bit on hit with 13 people getting hit by every single one of her attacks, at least.
She only did so well because she healed off of them so much. This doesn’t show how OP she is. She heals off the played too, but to a significantly lesser degree.

And that is with just basic AI. If they had a better strategy like avoid the aeonian bloom and keep the spears and their long range thrusts on the back this fights would have been even more onesided.

Idk why the creator claimed it was Godfrey. Anything in the game will get stunlocked by those Knights with or without Godfrey being there at all

It would be cool to see a fight between soldiers of the different armies (foot soldiers, soldiers and knights from the Godrick, Kuckoo, Redmane, Lyndell and Haligtree armies), including the versions that can use special attacks (like bloody slash).

Radahn shooting his arrows towards the Leyndell army and the crucible knights barely flinching has to be one of the most intimidating things I've seen in Elden Ring
The way Rick killed 5 knight with one swing is absolutely amazing
Malenia's life steal really had me thinking she was going to pull it off. I thought the same with Malekith since his tick damage is CRAZY. Unfortunately, neither of them was able to use their full abilities.
Maliketh was unfortunate. He jumped right into the swarm of crucibles.
I audibly gasped when Malenia died, I really thought she had it
Malenia might have won if not for the animation lock from the bloom. I knew she was gonna get slaughtered during in but look how many she took with her.

This is so satisfying. Seeing all the bosses getting crushed by them. They just stagger them to death. It's insane.
This is one of my favorite videos you've done. So epic. Would love to see the Len-Army versus a handful of the broken opponents. Like laser golem, death rite bird, and black blade kindred.
This is overkill to have an army vs 1 boss, although imagine a feature, if you didn't hunt down the crucible knights before killing maliketh, godfrey gathers them all to leyndell so instead of fighting gideon, it's siluria and ordovis and the others are posted along the approach to Godfrey
That would've been an awesome addition.
It would certainly have made Ashen Capital a lot more worth existing.
Something I wanna see more of in games: the environment AND characters respond to your choices rather than just 1 or the other. New Vegas has a pretty good post game mod but I wish any game actually attempted to change as the game progresses.

Ghost boss be right. If I'm correct the first war was with the Ancient dragons and the good Ole dragon God. Second one was with the giants on the mountain top of giants who all had the power to burn away the tree (some flame fell God that they worhippped) the 3rd I believe is the war between Radagon and Rennalla which you can see the leftovers of that by exploring liurania

Malenia taking out everyone along with her even after she is defeated is very reminiscent of her fight with Radahn, very in character, that was awesome to watch in fact.

The scariest part is that supposedly less than 20 Carian knights held this army to a standstill....
Believable. The one guarding the elevator to Rennala was a meance to society. Don't think I've ever beaten him in a fair 1v1. In comparison I've beaten all the Crucible Knights, sometimes even easily. The one guarding a shortcut in Leyndell was the only one I remember being hard stuck on.

Nope. Crucible Knights were actually banished by that time since the Erdtree was formed, "Spurned by the grace of gold." Carian Knights fought General Radagon and his golden hosts.
This would be significantly more interesting if the bosses were given infinite poise. Or like 10x the amount they normally have.

I think if there was a way to remove a bosses ability to be stunned, something like this would be a lot cooler to watch. It removes the cool factor when a boss has no chance simply because they get stun locked

I think Malenia or Maliketh could potentially win if they used the right abilities at the right times. If Malenia used 2 or 3 waterfowl dances in phase 1, it would possibly be enough to carry her over to a winnable phase 2, and Maliketh might kill them if he used his ranged combo a few times without ever leaping into the center of the army like a dumbass. The other bosses have basically no hope in any realistic scenario.
Edit: I didn't realize the Elden Beasts magic attacks did so much dmg to the knights so he clearly is another possible winner.

Nah Maliketh is not healthy enough, might take him 20 attempts and perfect RNG to win. Malenia has the best chance, she was 1 waterfowl away from winning this fight imo.
Maliketh cannot win, the Crucible Knights' holy resistance negates his DoT.
Trouble with Maliketh is I'm pretty sure his opening attack is scripted so he'd do that every time.
in one of my incant only attempts at malenia she used waterfowl 4 consecutive times in phase 1. so its possible
I like the idea of pitting iconic lore structures against something. As Godfrey had his Gang of Crucible Knights, Morgott had his Night's Cavalry. So setting those groups against each other would be fun. Or them and the black knife assassins, or all volcano manor residents.
The guy that made this needs to do this. Give each boss their 'armies' to make it at least somewhat fair.
That would be cool. Having Godfrey wasn’t fair for these fights since all the other bosses were alone.
I question how many of these bosses could even beat Geoffrey 1v1, let alone his army.

The way the knights all flew up and formed a wing of spear angels against Placidusax was insane, and generally them marching in step is so satisfyingly intimidating. Crucible Knights are no joke.

I love how every time Godrick is killed in his own arena, when he says “One day, we’ll return together” the ones who defeated him just run straight to the door.
These matchups are so dramatically unfair. None of these bosses could survive half the army, let alone the whole squad.

For the majority of these bosses, I got a strong feeling just one crucible knight would have been sufficient.

I’d like to think that the back story of them fighting in the academy came from Godfrey persecuting them for glinstone magic and invaded the academy with his army to prove that holy magic from the Erdtree was the way and that the sorcerers needed to be purged.
The fact that Malenia still almost won is absurd she really is the hardest boss in the game.
Gimmick ability. She's just more buffed up then anyone else for the sake of putting her at the end.
