    Mr. Lim everything you made is beautiful and easy to follow and delicious 😊. I wish I can eat this is one of my favorite to eat until I had celiac. But sometimes I make for husband and friend and I cheat once in a blue moon and suffers after 😂😌 it’s just so hard to resist. When someone like me that like authentic food taste.

    How would this recipe change if you don't have a machine? How long should you mix it for? And is it better to use a spatula or a whisk? Also, if I use all-purpose flour instead, should I use the same amount of flour? (thanks for helping this novice cook

    Great folding technique. I know that your recipes are tried, tested and very precise, but I don’t have access to bao flour. Could it be swapped for an alternative like plain, bread or cake flour?

      Try cake flour, or any other flour that has protein content around 8%.

      Today I tried making the pau dough using your recipe and it came out perfectly. Instead of using the bao flour I used your recipe instead - 225gm all purpose flour and 75gm wheat starch as what you had mentioned it is much better than commercial bao flour and it was so true! Thank you, Michael Lim for your given recipe👍👍

      Its actually just a combination of all purpose flour and cake flour.
