It isn't bigger because it doesn't make sense. The music of Bach sounds way better played with original baroque instruments. Modern eletric instruments still don't have the capacity to incorporate and transport the music properly, as we can hear in this video. Ironically there is much more rock and rythm in the original instrumentation wheras this metal version runs without any basso continuo and still lacks rythm despite the drums being added.
@The Unbeheld Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner worshipped him as well. In fact all of the greatest composers admitted at a certain point that they couldn't hold a candle to Bach's genius. Schumann said it best: "Bach makes the rest of us look like a bunch of bunglers!"
1: 00:00 Minuet in G Major (piano) 2: 00:43 Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor 3: 02:51 Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring 4: 04:17 Cello Suite No. 1 5: 05:12 Partita No. 6 (piano) 6: 06:02 Air on a G String 7: 08:27 Chaconne in D Minor
What a great way to honor J.S. Bach! They playing is very good but what makes it amazing for me is how you tastefully arranged and lined up the pieces.
I have looked up neo-classical before and its too "shreddy" for me but this.... this is amazing. Has the proper feeling of the original compositions but just a little spiced up. Amazing
Mark Klett Forgot about this video. And your reply has brought me right back to it. Still so glad it’s not “shreddy”. Can’t stand players who play fast just to play fast
I think the music of Bach is a way to talk the angels' language.....with the guitar even the Devil, Himself, will stop what He is doing to listen.... great job!!!
Thank you, Mark. J.S.Bach was one of the reasons I learned to play music as a child. Fifty plus years since, I'm still playing. His brilliance remains unmatched, IMHO.
This was a VERY good job of playing, filmimg and editing. It should have been hard to wait for the perfect sunshine behind the clouds and shoot before it went away... Congratulations from Rio de Janeiro !
Oh wow, the music you played so well, the setting. I applaud your tribute to Bach. Its people like you who make UA-cam a good place to be. I salute you and good luck with your channel. I believe this video should go viral.
Wow! How Beautiful! Thank you man for your great performances! I'm addicted to Bach's music. It's really a gift to humanity from Heaven. Keep it up and may God bless you and your loved ones!
Many thanks. Excellent work. You may know Glenn Gould called Bach an architect. When I was a boy, I assisted a brick layer. He stretched his line, mortared his bricks and put each in its place. Is this not the same? When someone plays Bach, they use Bach's plans and also put each piece in its place, building a cathedral out of sound.
Bach ocmpositions are indeed very mathematical if I can say that. The prelude in this video shows that. The first part of the piece ends exactly at the 21st bar which is exactly half of the piece. It ends on a D which is the dominant of G which tells you something is coming next. The second part of 21 bars this time ends on a G that's the end of the masterpiece
Thank you, I really love it, you play just beautifully. He really is the greatest composer of all time. My only complaint is that it's not long enough, I would love to hear you play the entire songs.
I love Bach and I love the sound of a clean electric guitar. I enjoy this even though it's a little hard for me to break in the middle of a masterpiece to the next piece. Also some of the 'pad' harmonies backing the cello prelude in G are a little awkward e.g. the end. Thanks for posting. And you're right - Bach is the greatest master of music the world has seen.
I'm in love with this video...amazing performance... With regards to having an electric guitar interpret Bach's music , I actually back this up (though being a classical fanatic) because in my view Bach believed music could be interpreted in many ways ..and we know this because he himself had made many different arrangements to Vivaldi's music .. He would have been proud to have seen this video .. I'd also like to add that this is how today's world can understand the complexity and genius in the master's music .. Hats off to this guy and three cheers to Bach!!!
I really enjoy your work, I love bach from my days of student, manny years ago. Very clean, not to shered, no to loud, very serius work...be proud of you. From Costa Rica.
cant stop watching this vid...it is a masterpiece, somehow I feel I can play myself most of it too
f no cutillas
Me too
I think I can play the guitar ones, but ain't no *way* I can tickle the ivories like that--best I can manage is Evanescence's My Immortal.
I feel like I can till I pick my guitar up
@@austinhitchy6996 so funny
I wonder if guys in robes came up to JSB sometime around 1730 after a concert and said "You got tabs for that, dude?"
would of hella been me lmao
"Got tabs bro?"
They’d probably be carved in limestone 🤣
I think J.S.BACH would be very interested in this method of writting music for string instruments like the guitar and lute.
Bach created the best guitar riffs in history and soo much more. What a musician!!!
I don't understand why Classical style metal isn't a bigger thing. I feel like Mozart's requiem would be amazing as an metal orchestra type thing.
Senor Studly Versailles is a band that uses the "feel" of classical composition and makes good music.
It is, especially when Trans Siberian Orchestra does it.
I highly recommend listening to Sinfonity.
Leo German lmao no one even listens to Miley Cyrus tf. This is 2018 dumbass

there are no words to Bach , the best
+Marino Polo Rivas The indisputable Master. His music is the sound of Eternity.
Marino Polo Rivas I think he and Beethoven shares the throne in the universe of music.
Bach wasn't a composer. He was the embodiment of human creativity's perfection.
In my opinion, Vivaldi is the best
@The Unbeheld Mozart, Beethoven and Wagner worshipped him as well. In fact all of the greatest composers admitted at a certain point that they couldn't hold a candle to Bach's genius. Schumann said it best: "Bach makes the rest of us look like a bunch of bunglers!"
Bach was the greatest. He just left an ocean of epic music behind.
Bach's essence shining through the clouds
1: 00:00 Minuet in G Major (piano)
2: 00:43 Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor
3: 02:51 Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring

@@profvonshredder2563 The time is irrelevant. He played it note for note! I agree with you.
Ha, air on a g string, just name it fart. I'm terrible I know, regardless this video is great and thanks for naming all the songs.
When we married, our first dance song was air on g part in this cover 😍❤️ It’s really amazing!!!
4:17 the prelude on guitar reminds me of "every breath you take" by the police 😂 seriously though this arrangement and medley is fantastic
this is why i love classical and electric guitar
Bach, the greatest composer! Thank you!
Thank you so much I'm glad you appreciate it!
When air on g string first started playing, i thought it was comfortably numb haha
Covellechi Hahahahahaha same here
What a great way to honor J.S. Bach! They playing is very good but what makes it amazing for me is how you tastefully arranged and lined up the pieces.
Thank you kindly!
I have looked up neo-classical before and its too "shreddy" for me but this.... this is amazing. Has the proper feeling of the original compositions but just a little spiced up. Amazing
Perfect! That's what I was going for. Thanks for the kind words!

No technical no shredding no speed no alternate picking
A+ on the cinematography.
Thank you!
I think the music of Bach is a way to talk the angels' language.....with the guitar even the Devil, Himself, will stop what He is doing to listen.... great job!!!
+MrFKatz Haha thanks man I like that!
Even J.S. Bach would be proud of this mix. Fantastic !!
Bach indeed started it all ... jazz and metal included!!!
Outstanding command of both Bach and the guitar. You bring new life to centuries old music.
Wow. A cat talks.
A-laboratory cats always have something to say, it only matters when they care to actually say it.
Thank you, Mark. J.S.Bach was one of the reasons I learned to play music as a child. Fifty plus years since, I'm still playing. His brilliance remains unmatched, IMHO.
Merci à tous pour vos bons mots!
I can't stop listening to this, I love it all. Your brilliant rendition of Cello Suite No 1 is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
I think the fact that you managed to catch that view behind you is just as amazing as the playing.
Yoooou J.S Son of a B...ACH
Can't Imagine the western music without you
Air on a g string sounds like it could make a good rock ballad when done on guitar
A whiter shade of pale - Procol Harum
Old composers was rock in your brains. Fantastic always in guitar.
BAM awesome performance !! Time is proven relative watching this stunning video as it's over in a sigh
The more I listen, the more I love it
Bach never gets old!

Air on a G string got me. Seems like it was meant for electric guitar. Great job.
Vinnie Moore - April Sky, check it out...
Best electric guitar version of Air on G String, imo. Any chance of the full cover being uploaded?

My personal favourite...
This was a VERY good job of playing, filmimg and editing.
It should have been hard to wait for the perfect sunshine behind the clouds and shoot before it went away...
Congratulations from Rio de Janeiro !
Bravo. Bach fue sin duda el mejor. Bach has been the best.
Simply beautiful ! Classical music matches perfectly with such an awesome instrument as electric guitar is... I say
Oh wow, the music you played so well, the setting. I applaud your tribute to Bach. Its people like you who make UA-cam a good place to be. I salute you and good luck with your channel. I believe this video should go viral.
Love it! Nice scenery on the background too.
Thank you!!
Bach music is so awesome that can be played with any instrument, even with an heavy metal electric guitar. Nice movie.
6 years, and i still come back here to listen whenever i tired of everything.
Dude! That just proves Bach was the Father of all western music. So well done.
Wow! How Beautiful! Thank you man for your great performances! I'm addicted to Bach's music. It's really a gift to humanity from Heaven. Keep it up and may God bless you and your loved ones!

+Ronald's Piano Videos Thank you so much!
Happy birthday Mr Bach, great master.
When the tapping comes in, amazing!
I used to think I was a fairly competent guitarist until I listened to this, Tina S, Dr V etc. Now its like my first day at school!
Oh man it's a huge honor to be lumped in with those guitarists that you mentioned!
You are more than welcome Mark.
WOW! That was transcendent, magnificent, an answer to the woes of the soul. Thank you for sharing this!
Obilio222 Wow, thank you so much!
fully agree Bach´s the greatest composer of all time ... and then "Handel!"
this is a modern masterpiece. even if it was inspired from Bach, i have hope from humanity if this is what music is evolving into
Good Job! I Agree with you : J.S. Bach is The Master!
Kick ass ending, what a beautiful instrument the guitar is my friends.
Beautiful backdrop
Really enjoyed this arrangement and playing as well as the visual excitement of the sunburst background

Buena interpretaciòn de los grandes de la música, específicamente Bach. Saludos desde Nicaragua.
i was having doughts while learning on an acoustic guitar now am not this is giving me goose bumps
That ending was great. It seemed completely written for the piece, but at the same time was totally badass. Very well done.
Thanks man!
Bella música y gran talento exelente versión
The infinity of Bach. Great energetic interpretation.
In the 1970s the Minuet in G major was identified as a piece from a harpsichord suite by Dresden organist Christian Petzold.[4]
Yes I learned this very shortly after posting this video.
I love Bach, he was, he is the best. Ever.
And I love your enthusiasm, and the effort put into this project/video. Great job, man! Be proud!
I think the master Bach would say Wunderbar. Thank you so much for such beautiful moments.
the audition of this video is wonderful at New Year's Eve
This has inspired me to learn Bach as well. Hope I can play as epic as this.
Very nice ! and beautiful Ibanez Prestige
