Those look amazing and tasty!!! I’m new to smoking. Thank you so much for this video and thank you for answering viewers questions!! Every question I had in my mind has an answer by you!! Bro, I can’t wait to try this out 😎👍 Thanks again all the way from South Texas!
@@rbarron007 thank you. I’m glad you got something out of watching! I always try to answer anyone’s response because they didn’t have to take the time to speak 😊. I hope it turns out great for you!
Sir I really liked you video. I have tried your recipe on my pittboss and have made it several times now. Thank you again for this video and I hope to watch more
After retiring I moved to Alabama across the river from Georgia and after living in Texas for 39 years I sure do miss it. Although Alabama and Georgia both are great states 👍 Great video, keep on grilling !
Thank you. I am sure you will enjoy your smoker. Thanks for watching. If you get a chance, post a video of your cook. Be safe Brother and keep that smoke rolling!
Tyson J. Roberts thank you. The spray butter really helps with moisture and flavor. Also it will help with making sure the skin is perfect (if there was skin on these).
Question for you if I put some chicken legs on there would they cook the same amount of time and I'm from Texas just moved to Oregon and I miss my HEB that's for damn sure.. and these look wonderful I've been cooking for 17 years retired and then went to the oil field and then left because of well you can figure that out we lost our jobs
Thank you! You would be looking at close to the same time with legs but they should get done faster. I am in the Fort Worth area and there is not a freaking HEB in this area. The closest one is about an hour drive 😞.
So I'm new to pellet smoking, but why do you smoke them with a baking pan/drip tray setup? Wouldn't that reduce flavour? Do you do everything like that?
So the rack is elevated from the tray. That allows the smoke and heat to still get all around the chicken pieces. By putting them in there the way I did, it reduces the need to clean the smoker because everything will be caught in the tray. So you get the same taste without the mess. Also, no I do not do everything like that, just do it like that sometimes.
My wife has 2 packages of skinless boneless chicken thighs she has planned for chicken enchiladas for tonight's dinner. However, she has slept in this morning & I just so happen to have some Suckle Busters Clucker Dust Rub I've been wanting to try & a Pit boss vertical smoker that has been sitting idle for the last week. I believe combining Gods gifts of Meat, Spice, Fire, & your recipe will be worth the wrath of an angry wife. Wish me luck Sir.
Daniel Swisher thank you. Glad that you liked it. Yes the butter does add some depth to the flavor profile. Do you plan on posting any videos to your channel?
Awesome chicken thighs Geoffrey, great color on them and I'm sure that clicker dust was good, I've heard a lot about it. I just tried their hogwaller on some ribs and it was really good. Have a great week brother!
Pickles BBQ thank you Charley. They have some pretty good rubs (only tried 2 of them lol). I think I might try some Kosmos Q soon. Their rib glazes look killer!
Hey brother....those look so good! At what point did you sauce them...like 30 min left or so....never mind...my speakers cut out when you said 15-20 more minutes the first time lol! Great job man!
That Pit Boss puts out some delicious food. I like how you cooked the thighs right on the rack. Look delicious on the cutting board bud! Cheers Geoffrey!...I'll be back!!
Solid video man. Didn't know you were in GA too man. I'm down near the airport area. I need to line my roasting rack like you did too. It'd make my clean up a lot easier.
AntStill BBQ I am down here in the Savannah area. Yes, definitely use foil when you can. It saves a lot of work when it’s time to clean behind yourself lol.
@@GrillandSmokeBBQ Sir, Sir, Sir, it was on point! Awesome taste! Great video, thank you for sharing and thank you for your Service. Enjoy your weekend.
Wow those chicken thighs looked fantastic that's my favorite part of the chicken but I have to have my chicken skin lol. Keep up the great work my friend
Triple B's Rollin Smoke it’s hard to find one right now. I got lucky to find a pork butt this past weekend, but things seem to be getting better. Maybe I will find me a brisket for this weekend’s smoke...

Very nice. A real person making real food. Interesting, I never though of using skinless thighs which makes sense as the texture of the skin is often less than ideal.

I’ve used this recipe/process twice in the last couple weeks on my Weber kettle and both times it was the best chicken I’ve ever cooked! Great video

Grill and Smoke BBQ - what was the total cook time for your smoke at 250F? (Edit: never mind - saw that you stated "60-75 mins" below). Thanks!
No problem. Thanks for watching!
I was wondering the same thing. Its 2am and I'm a lil tipsy not paying close attention 🤪
Looks good Sir! I’m going to try, what temp did you cook at, how long did you wait to add the butter spray?
