I absolutely love how unique this watch is and definitely worthy of the award. I can’t pull off the size but it’s a stunner alright. Thank you for bringing this watch for review Steve, I appreciate the watch for what it is - a piece of art.
Very unique watch. Certainly not something I would buy if I had $2000 to spend on a watch but a worthy addition for someone who owns numerous $2000+ watches. Congrats on your channel getting to place where you are sent such a watch. Keep up the great content!
Thank you so much! I was absolutely shocked they sent this one to me. Honored for sure, especially since there are a lot of other more worthy channels out there.
I am so happy you got one. Really something that has to be experienced. You deserve because I enjoy your videos and that is a gift for hard work you done. I thought the blue planet was excellent.
I have the standard version of this watch that I reviewed a while back now. It's definitely unique, that's for sure. This gilded version looks pretty nice too. It's interesting to see that they added a bracelet to this version as well. It looks really good on the watch, albeit a fingerprint magnet. Great review mate.
A great review for an unique and very interesting watch. I know some people are saying that's too expensive but if it was a Swiss brand (and Swiss made), they would call it genius. Thanks for sharing, Steve (glad you can keep it). Ps: I ordered the Proxima PX1697 with your affiliate link 2 or 3 weeks ago. I hope it worked!
Thanks for all the support Jonathan! Much appreciated for all the things you do. Love hearing your thoughts on the watches as well 👊 P.s. about to hop in the pool with my 1697 👍
Great review! I've seen this watch before on the Ciga Design website while browsing for an affordable modern looking skeleton. Clicked on it and was shocked by the price tag. Somewhat understandable with the GPHG award. No sapphire caseback is incredibly disappointing. Why cut corners with their crown achievement piece? The minutes rotating in the opposite way is weird too. Ceramic case and bracelet are a big plus. Nice that the movement is perfectly regulated straight out of the box. I gotta say that while the dial finishing is very nice, the compass up close looks kind of... cheap. They should have made it smaller. Very cool of them to let you keep the watch, kudos for making an honest review despite it!
Most of the tubers i know have this (flying saucer/ almost flat earth 😋) for review right now... as happened with the previous one too. But i'll say one more time that the packaging is (probably...) the only interesting about it, and the brand in general !!! Anyways... Be well Steve, cheers. PS Steel, titanium, silver, ceramic, gold... what's next? bronze with enamel i guess... 🤪

Couldn't agree more!

Thank you! I definitely wasn't expecting this one to show up at my doorstep, that's for sure.

Thanks, James. The bracelet is actually awesome. Super comfy. But man, I constantly had to wipe it down...lol
@@EscapeWheel I can imagine.
I think it's amazing. Very unique for sure.
Very different from the norm.. Maybe I'm just a boring guy but I don't think I'd be happy wearing this. Excellent review anyway!
Thanks for the video. My wrist is smaller, would I be able to shorten the ceramic strap?
Yes the strap can be shortened quite a bit

@@EscapeWheel it's nothing.
Happy swimming, mate! (I'm envious 😁)
The movement in Cigas is some Chinese,Hangzhou or Peacock maybe.
I think its a modified Seagull ST2130!
Your reviews are excellent and you clearly have very similar taste in watches as I do. Keep up the good work!
appreciate the kind words, thanks for watching!
Oh it's nice. Not sure I can justify the price for what would be a novelty piece, but it's really nice.
My feelings exactly. Not for me but definitely for someone.
great work on the video too ...

Thank you for watching! It's a crazy looking piece, with an unusual movement. A great watch for some big collection for sure.
Sound is very low
I've used the same sound settings for all my reviews. 🤷. Sounds good on my end.

Don't give them any ideas, Stavros!
Definitely interesting. But nothing I would buy…
What the heck :D
