In this Streamlabs tutorial I'll explain how to record gameplay with Streamlabs OBS for both slow and fast pc's. We'll go over the best recording settings and how to adjust them to your pc so you have no lag at all. For people who don't have NVENC available I'll go over the best x264 settings for recording too. Great video I have a question how can I play Spotify in the background while having gameplay and sound still on. Also how can I change the sound strength of both because I don’t want my music as loud as my gameplay

Thanks man. I tried recording with settings from another video and the recording was super choppy and skipped a bunch of frames. These settings worked perfectly to record in 1080p 60fps for my channel.

Thank You so much. Xbox Game bar has totally failed and can't be fixed. I've used Streamlabs to go live in the past so I have it set up for live streaming. This is what I needed to do for my recorded content. You're awesome.
5:48 about the tracks, for me it's either mic and desktop are on the same track or else if i put voice in 1 and desktop in 2 i don't record one and vice versa. I discovered it when a viewer asked me if i had mic muted on stream, and then i noticed it was not working in the recording as well.

Hi Video Nerd, thanks for the video. I'm having problems recording my gameplay audio within Streamlabs OBS. I'm using a console with an Elgato Capture Card. I've watched some of my own recordings and my gameplay audio isn't recorded, even though the audio levels are reaching into the yellow in Streamlabs. How could I go about fixing this?
