Hey thanks for the question. Im not sure I completely understand, but I believe you are asking about the ability to pre record an empty sequence prior to playing? If so, then kinda. Theres a function that allows you to auto build a blank sequence of 64, or 128 steps. You can then play this 'empty' sequence with a drum machine and, while using override mode, record in the notes you would like. Hope this helps! thanks for the interest!
@@spacebraincircuits1358 Yes, I think that's what I was asking. Basically I was looking for a very small sequencer with at least 64 steps for volca beats. I play the volca beats through a spd sx drum machine as if it were real drums and therefore I was looking for the function of being able to record the midi notes on the sequencer while I'm playing. So if I understand correctly, just pre-record a "silent" track and then I can use it as if it were the volca beats sequencer in practice.
