Watching Kyle put on his own tear offs is refreshing and humanizes a dude who is practically super man as a wheel man
he is that once in a generation driver that is like the old guys like foyt, or andretti, steve kinser, tony stewart that can drive anything with wheels and do it well for certain, but he not only has to put on his own tear offs hes also not a huge tall guy, the wiki says hes 5 foot 6 and about 135 lbs, though light weight helps in racing compaired to blue collor bubba beergut biweekly racer that is a huge dude, and neither is mr rico abru under five foot and among the best running 410 sprint cars finding the podium frequently, so love em or hate em you do have to respect em.
seen many in nich areas do human things too especially like voice actors at conventions or those in the traditional archery, or historical railroading community, that are giant names in those areas, we all have to eat, and drink and do prep work for our jobs, and even superman had to eat and drink and in the stories worked in disguise as a reporter.
but its nice to see what goes on off the track and how the once in a gen good driver works and acts and all the hard work that goes into things before the engine fires up, and for taking time to make the content when there is so often little time to do so, especially the short track circut, they dont usually have a huge crew like one might for indy car formula 1 or nascar, or nhra drag racing, where one would have a whole crew or pit crew and mechanics, in the case of the short track you might solo or only have 1 or two other people.

Man, I can't express how happy It makes me to watch Kyle where he is today. I know with the events from his mistake and the journey he has taken to get back where he is. I love every minute of it. It was so awesome to watch his dominance in cup and Now on dirt again as well. I hope he wins tonight and tomorrow at bristol and Sunday at Richmond!

There's certainly a case to be made he is the best race car drivers ever - almost certainly by the end of his career. To say he is the best late model driver ever is a little disingenuous, though.
