Since Lucas Oil is not sponsoring the chili bowl anymore, I wish the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets would race there next year. The best part is that all the races will be on DIRTVision (Which i think is affiliated with Floracing.)
Broooooo switching from Kyle’s dad talking to us about how calm and pure racing is to Justin cursing and it bleeping out in the trailer. That got me 😂😭
I was at that first race. My father was the plant manager for the Original Chili Bowl company that sponsored that first race. We ran the first 13 of them without missing any. Then ran a few more here and there. Now my stepbrother Kyle Jones is running there and made the A last year. The Chili Bowl is in my blood.
@@nickphilkill818 Australian Sprintcar Fan here. It would have to be out there on one of your own American Motorsports Websites, surely? If it was going to be on free-to-air or cable TV it wouldn't matter, they'd be out there, somewhere on the web. So give it a go, mate!! If it's gonna be on the "small screen," they'll be advertising the fact loud and clear on the Web for sure, mate!! I had four kids racing karts on dirt in three different classes every Saturday night from April through September from 2006-11. I both loved and hated it for the six years we competed. I loved the racing and getting to see my three sons and daughter develop their skills and confidence. It revealed to me a lot about their unique personalities. I loved the mechanics and all the variables on the setup that made for more or less speed or drivability. But it really took over my life. I worked on the karts all week to get them ready to race. The karts and equipment took over the space in my shop. The tire treatments that you applied during the week stank up my entire shop. And as the adage goes: money buys speed - some other dad was always capable and willing to outspend me on equipment. I got into karting because I LOVE racing (which I still do) and it was something that I was able to "coach" my kids at. I do admire the dads that are able to stick with it (like Kyle's dad) - it is a lot of fun in the pits with the kids and other dads. The racing families are people cut of the same cloth at whatever level you are racing at.
Congratulations to the Floracing team ... We see that sort of intensity in our V8 Supercars ... But I love Sprinters .. . I wish you guys were doing this in Australia ...
Best racing docu series there is. So insane how much better this is than Drive to Survive or the IMSA series. I cant stand the team BS in DTS, IMSA is good but way too focused telling me how important everything is without showing it. This series has great instumentals, great transitions, and builds the intesity through the people who actually drive doing the talking and great cinematography. Can't praise this enough. Thank you Flo.
I am enjoying episode two way more than episode one, I am really enjoying the driver origin stories, and it might have something to do with someone being a Kyle Larson fan boy 🙋🏻♂️
Crazy I went to elementary school and was friends with Ashley Grant (Jones). Her dad, Bubby Jones raced at Ascot Raceway Park against my dad, they lived not to far from us in Glen Avon CA. I used to see old chassis in the back yard, some of them bent up pretty good. I grew up around racing and sprint cars, little did I know at the time her dad was a legend (may he rest in peace) in sprint car racing.
*NOT A CHANCE.* Not in his heart. NASCAR just a high paying job he needs to work and make as much as he can while he can. Do you see NASCAR investing in documentaries about Larson? I would bet Larson would take 4 WoO Championships. Or 4 Knoxville National Championships. Or 2 Indy 500 Championships. Over 8 NASCAR Cup Championships.
He is going to leave NASCAR to race dirt full time once he is older so I doubt it. He has a real possibility of being the first person to be a cup champion and a World of Outlaws champion though.
Chili Bowl needs to have a qualifier program so they dont have 15000 races to get through. They should have qualifying races throughout the year that enter you into contention. They should also have a certain amount of contingency offers to drivers who don't normally race midgets/sprints. Just my opinion.
Bobby Jones was a golfer. I quit golf my senior year to go racing. As #1 varsity coach wanting me to play jv. That's like dropping from outlaws to street stock
What's the odds of getting F1/NTT to combine rulebooks. Marlboro SENDS Ferrari 160,000,000 a season. Nascar makes 100,000,000. By combining it allows rivalry and still be independent series. Why? Tobacco sponsorships costing country twice. I take racing from no person. But the crop insurances it could be a requirement for Marlboro and Ferrari build from America.
Man, I hope this is the last episode I have to fast forward thru the "how crazy the wife is and how cool it is she drinks beer" segments. Otherwise, awesome show. 😆
There was approximately 4 mins out of 5 hours showing Katelyn shotgunning a beer..Man all that fast fowarding must have just about killed u..prayin for your full recovery
Is it too early to suggest to FLO to do another season of this??

I heard they may have a tv partner for Saturday night next year do you know anything about that? Could be FS1 who is airing this series?

So far y'all knocking it out of the park with this series.
This series deserves an award

Heyy and my boy kyle Larson and rico abreu my to favorite racers both of them are goats

Well I'd say he's made it a future hall of famer in many disciplines of racing one of the best of all time and I'm a Jeff Gordon and Chase Elliott fan
Fantastic.
Really good so far. Anyone know how many episodes there will be ?
It’s 5 episodes total, 2 have already premiered so 3 episodes left in the series.
I like Kyle
rickys face is priceless
I predict Kyle will be the one to break the seven championship Cup championships curse if he maintains his health.
Right now he is the only one I think that even has a shot at it yeah

What year does a chassis become historical? I know where a car is never knew the guy was a racer. Setting in a corner building 30+years non wing

Justins womans attitude toward racing is every racers dream in what they want a wonan to think about racing!!!

Harambe “music”
It probably was a good thing the practice track was a house outside town limits. The echo at the police station. Like setting in the stands.
This rules
Justin got him a cougar
I hope Kyle comes back to the Bowl in 2024.
What's the song at 23:40
Get Mine-Kikbak & Enimeezy
Anyone know the song around 23.00
Get Mine-Kikbak & Enimeezy
I don’t understand why anyone thinks that Harambe noise is good or even considered music
21:46 who raps that? If it’s in the comments, I missed it.
A Harambe obviously

Disagree but they should start the "alphabet soup" on Friday so they dont go to midnight on saturday.

rap music is disgusting, vulgar and nihilistic.

I just think most of it is mediocre some exceptions though.
