- How to easily stop rust, or slow down rust on your car.
Bmw E46 waxoil / cavity wax + XCP / Lanoguard / ACF50 / Fluid Film application
say what you will about BMW corrosion.J've never seen a spot of rust on their windows
Or the tyres!
Poking things is holes and spraying inside them is literally my favourite thing to do. And I always say YES as I pull the nozzle out
High fiiiiiiive
no idea the rear arches had bungs, thanks I'm liking your honest to the point channel we should all keep our old shitters running a bit longer since the EV scam etc.
Thanks mate 🙃
Biggest piece of advice I'd give is that you need a lot more product to get good protection.
My car, a 2016 Focus I've used
2x 750ml Dynax s50 in the chassis legs front and back.
6x 500ml Dinatrol 1000 in sills and other box sections
4x 750ml Dynax UC on subframes and floor pan
4x 500ml Dinatrol 1000 inside doors, bonnet and wings
Ok that all adds up to about £250 worth of product but that's what it takes if you really want to protect it well.
Of course. The more you use and the more places you manage to apply it is generally going to be better. I was just showing what I think to be the easiest and cheapest method of adding at least an extra layer of protection. If I had a newish car that hadn’t already started rusting, I’d spend a few hundred quid and go to the effort of taking all the arch liners out etc. In that scenario I’d probably go with Dinitrol as I’ve had good results from their products in the past. Their rust blocking primer is by far the best rust stopper I’ve ever used.
Thank f8ck for the foot tapping. If you’d missed it out in this video too, I think I would have been inconsolable 🤣
Fuck knows how I messed it in the last video 😂😂😂

Talk about closing the gate after the horse has fooked off!! Hahaha 😆
Tell me about it 😕
E46 is looking good, so even more reason to try and maintain it !
That tin was a rust blocker, is that like lanoguard ? As opposed to a rust convertor ?
Im fixing up a Navara at the moment and bought some Petec Rost Wandler(convertor) on autodoc. But is this differant ?
Yea this is a rust blocker like lanoguard or fluid film but it’s really for bikes etc where you can cover the whole bike with it then just wipe it off e paintwork and it brings it up shiny
Similar to the acf50 I used on the c1, but this is a bit more heavy duty but doesn’t look as neat
I bought enough to fill a swimming pool and had a crane dip my car into it 👍 job done
@@dRew-something what a great idea!
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos lol, just using a wire brush to clean up some rust on the underside of mine..my neck is killing me
First!
I was first like, but took 2 long writing reply !!
I was once first on a Project Farm video!
Best channel on UA-cam as always...👍👍👍
If you ignore all the other channels, then this one’s definitely the best 😂
The other channels could be better but it's the way you do it that's what we want to see...🙃🙃🙃
ACF50 is the way ,,, wax burns when you are in there welding it , and with cavity wax you will be ,,, I work at land rovers ,,, I could write a book about rust.
Has it rained since you did the asda vapor barrier ,,, just a thought as to why it may not be leaking water anymore ????
front chassis rails down beside the engines a good spot for a squirt or two also ,,, and strut tops.
I’m in oldham, it rains daily 😂
This stuff is a lot like acf50, same kind of product but it’s a bit more heavy duty and maybe not as neat. I like acf50
Ear wax did you say
I said ,,, Ear way
Speak up man ,,, Im missing this video sound track sunny.
