Hey Ryan, thanks for giving XCP Rust Blocker CLEAR COAT a try. We've actually just launched a new and improved formula, with even longer lasting protection. We would probably also recommend XCP Rust Blocker Original (the orange can) for subframe and suspension applications. Would be great to catch up with you some time to talk through the products!

Fantastic and thank you for the advice. I’d be happy to catch up with you as have enjoyed using your products and would be keen to see what you have on offer now.

I love xcp and use it all over my motorbike except for on the painted tank and guards and it’s stopped the rust in its tracks. Fantastic!.
I can’t imagine that product would be anywhere near good enough though to make much difference under a car as it wouldn’t have the durability ?
The original Xcp rust blocker might perform better but even that might not be good enough unless it was applied regularly and a thick coating was gradually formed over time.
So will be great to see how it performs !

Thanks for the comment and great to hear it’s worked well on your motorbike. From looking on UA-cam I see most of the videos relate to motorbikes so I really wanted to give it a go on a car. It’s something I imagine could be topped up each autumn to protect over the worst of the following months.
I assume some other more traditional car underbody protection would be more durable but this seems a nice middle ground for a car which rarely sees salt.

Just found your vids mate. I do all my cars & my V6 with xcp via a compressor and hvlp gun. Dont be shy with it.

Great sounds like using a compressor might be the next step then. Based on what you say I assume you just give everything a coating pretty much? Also have you found it’s worked well for you then?

@RyanBengal1 I apply ACF50 from a hvlp paint gun in the engine bay, it will mist under the engine side covers and wick in, all safe to wick around all the alu parts especially the corroded rocker bolts under the SC. This will wick around the injector openings and other components mated that are prone to galvanic corrosion. Acf is approved by BMW motorrad now for safe use on all areas of their bikes. I've used it for years and protects by bikes for winter riding. I use xcp rust Blocker for the out of sight areas like under the car and in cross member cavities. Its a little stickier and less cosmetically appealling than acf. Acf leaves a very light oily film, ocd detailing fans will cry, but I prefer rust protection where it counts. Just keep mist away from belts, pulleys and brakes.

@@xl447 Think you'll like the XCP Rust Blocker CLEAR COAT product. Similar in physical properties to your current product, but it will give longer lasting protection. And keep using XCP Rust Blocker Original for the areas where you have been using it 👍
