Just saw this video today(though it was first released eight years ago)-and I think I would've paid to see this show, just to see the sweet fine young thing alone up there, doin' her thing on stage-but this was not a bad show, in spite of the poor sound quality. I guess that was due to the sound man, not being able to the fix problems that he apparently was having. Also-Mark Adams plays the Funk on the bass the way it should be played-with his thumb in the upward position-not downward, which is how a lot of bass players still play their Funk on the bass, but it looks awkward-as good as they may be, and shows they were never properly taught how to thump the strings, when playing in the Larry Graham(who started this)Funk style, as apparently Mark, and other bass players learned how to do. This was horrible wow so very hard to watch the sound was horrific the crowd dead, the entertainers were miserable. I am a true slave fan and i hate when my bands from the 70's and 80's just stink. It would've been nice if steve arrington was up in this piece and just him and Mark could've ripped it smh.

This is not the sound I know I have every album they made so I know there music
That keyboard thoe
The music was over riding the voices on this Slide Marc Adams died in what year again I forgot he was a real good Bass Guitar player.
Who is that super sexy lady on that stage sliding.
What are they saying You can slide with me come on and .
I believe it's "you can slide with me come morning"-well, that's what I understood it to be for decades now. 4-9-22.

It would have cool if Slash
hit that lead guitar.
they were the bomb but it is funny how people capitlize off the dead.
Mr. Mark don't look and act like himself!!!
MrTeatreeoil I agree, his earlier work in the studio is untouchable, something just ain't right here!
Rick Barnes at first I didn't even recognize Mr. Mark
MrTeatreeoil he did age a little, plus his sound and bass are different, don't know what he did with his old modified Fender Jazz bass.
Yeah, it's a thing called aging. Everyone does it differently.
Mark sounds better on vinyl.
This ain’t Slave!!!
They lost their sound..
This sounds like super crapp are you sure this is Slave and not a cover band, the guitarist sounds horrible.
afterthefox7 I know Danny Webster quite well since High school and I don't see him. Oh and that dude singing is no Steve Arrington. I may be mistaken since I haven't seen them since 77
Danny sung the intro to Slide I stand corrected. As I said I havent seen any pf them since 77 and I left dayton in 1980.
Will BuryU
Nope
The only one that's the original is the bass player which is Mark Adams
Will BuryU
By the way Steve Arrington did not sing
Slide
it was
Floyd Miller
That is Danny Webster singing the lead. I was at this show
Pinky Toes mic is NOT HOT.
DAMN I CAN'T WATCH THIS. MARK ADAMS, FLOYD MILLER, DANNY WEBSTER, MARK HICKS, ORION WHILHOITE, TIM DOZIER, TOM LOCKET, CARTER BRADLEY, AND THE FEARLESS LEADER STEVE WASHINGTON.....STEVE ARRINGTON, STARLEANA YOUND AND CURT JONES. MINUS MARK ADAMS WHO THE HELL ARE THESE CLOWNS? SAD. VERY SAD IT CAME TO THIS.
Danny on guitar.
That solo is terrible....
Not tight
They lost it, no steve arrington , no drac no mr. mark can't be slave.
That is original members Mark on bass (how can you not tell!?) And Danny Webster on guitar. Both were on the very first album.
These people are a joke
These are 2 of the only original members left and both have left this earth. i adore this performance especially because it is very hard to find slave live anywhere on video. The sound isn't great but I miss my band mates and friends.
Damn, this is what happens to the greats that used to fill stadiums and arenas...😢😢
