    Embrace the Darkneees.
    Also for clarification the top numbers are frets and the roman numerals under are degrees relative to the minor scale.

      Really, he's clarifying that the Roman numerals represent the minor scale in full. If you know you're Roman numerals then you would better understand this subject. Just learn musical theory and you will understand. :)

    I think it’d be pretty cool if you added some examples of bands that use said cord progressions in the description or the video. Besides the obvious ones, of course. I think that’s what all of the videos similar to this should have.

    The chord you listed as #I is probably more properly written as bII since it implies the Phrygian mode (minor b2) in minor. Really great vid though, I love that you use roman numerals in your stuff. Keep it up!

    • @NikNocturnal
      @NikNocturnal  5 років тому +1

      You're correct, I just wanted to keep it all consistent to minor to avoid using multiple scales and confusing people. So as long as they follow that ideal they'll end up at the same place even though I'm away it's not "theoretically 100%"

    • @LeaSatou
      @LeaSatou 5 років тому

      @@NikNocturnal yeah, that makes sense. When you get more into the theory it can be hard to remember what was hard to grasp starting out. You do a really good job of keeping stuff simple, love your stuff! Keep it up.
