I'm mostly useless in the cooking division & I made this pies yesterday for Father's Day. I received such a lot of compliments on the way it looked & it tasted deleesh as well! The extended family couldn't believe that it was me that made the pies all on my own.

Hi Fatima, this is such an easy recipe. I do not stay in the same town as my mom, therefore I'm in contact with her daily for her delicious recipes and chicken and mushrooms is one of her many yummy recipes. I tried your recipe and my mother was very, very impressed with me. She said the the texture and presentation was to perfection. Just made this filling, except I had left over breasts from a roasted chicken. Tore the chicken into pieces and added it after the mushrooms had braised, just before adding the thickener. And fresh thyme. Delicious!

@@vonniecronje3914 I got a jubilee set as a wedding gift 13yrs ago but also grew up cooking in my parents universal set and my mom was soooo particular in washing our pots with chemico liquid .... Their pots and mine still looks brand spanking new!
