Love this body style! More comfortable than my living room! Wire wheel covers and opera lamps! Those were the days! Cadillac, what have you done???

I love, love the interior!!if i had the funds id buy it for its interior. It would match perfect with my 78 coupe that has the same color interior but mine are leather seats, 50/50 like this one but mine is not an d'Elegance trim coupe. Gorgeous

I would say 172,000 miles ‼️‼️ Who cracks his steering wheel up and 72,000 miles 🧐 but still it’s a Cadillac I love it 🤩🤩

I drive a 78 Cadillac Coupe Deville d'Elegance everyday of course it's meant no rust no cracks in the dash it's perfect got it from a guy in Texas, I'm a Cadillac collector in Alabama that car could sure use some TLC you're right, a top a windshield a hood pad and those quarters with the holes in them somebody drove it somewhere where they use salt on the road, if you want to sell it let me know the shipping would be over a grand to get it to Alabama where it's entire exhaust system could be cut off and a new one put on with no smog Patrol, we don't have to have it in this state. We even have gasoline without alcohol in it that's what that car is supposed to run on it will destroy the fuel system if the gasoline has alcohol in it. Let me know if you're interested in selling it

For a car that only has 72 thousand miles on it it looks like it sat outside the top is cracked and the dashboard is cracked but I would like to have that car and restore it

Cadillac would still build great cars but the government interferes to much in design with all the regulations

The emergency brake is engaged; hence the brake light indicator. Parking brake automatically dis-engages when D or R is selected.

There is *no way* the mileage on that beast is only 72k original. With the way the seats were vibrating to the clanks and clunks of that engine I’d say it’s got more like 172k miles. Gosh, my parents’ 40 year old lawnmower ran smoother than this poor engine. The interior of this car looks as if it has been cleaned up, and definitely does not appear to be in good shape. By the looks of the soot, filth, and smudges on the dash, I’d say this car has seen more road trips than the Boy Scouts. And what’s up with the unusually high ride height on that rear end? What a clunker.
