Back before the F-86/MiG-15 BR decrease, this plane was one of my favourites. Sadly now it just gets lost in the compression, fighting enemies it's no match for.
I love getting kills like the one at 9:02 - so satisfying blasting someone crossing in front of you with one little burst

Those mig15's are a perfect example of my biggest gripe with WT. Give a player an absolute beast of a plane (8.3!) and they manage to get shot down because of their own impatience. Hard to find good fights these days.
It annoys me when someone who is slower decides to chase you forever even though you, him, and the dude spectating you all know he won't catch you. As a general rule, If I know I don't have a fast enough vehicle/ enough energy, I don't wast both our time and just break off to climb and set up for defensive maneuvers. I hate it when someone who knows darn well he can't catch you decides he's gonna chase you to the ends of the earth anyway out of spite or just because he doesn't know any better.

Question Defyn, if there was one quality of life fix that you could choose to add, what would it be? Drop tanks? A sliding scale for fuel loads instead of the current presets?
Fuel amounts being showed in units of volume with the approximate time the fuel is going to last would be nice as well, as fuel consumption changes with lots of different factors

@@DEFYN hahahahaha god no, also defyn what do you think of the viggen every ones calling it op even though compared to every other time gaijin has introduced a new gen aircraft this one is one of the most balanced jets ive seen, since all the major nations like to point at the 2 skyflashes and forget completely about the F4Ej kai and the fgr which out do the viggen in everything but maneuverability and energy retention.
Tbh I also get curious that why CCs face so less engagements with multiple people. And then whenever I enter a match the entire enemy hunts me down as if I'm a bounty or something

interesting, might try universals again, I found stealth to be the most... stealthy but tracers to be the most consistent at doing damage with short bursts.

If you're still blatantly refusing to play the A32A, check out the IL-2M instead. I've had a lot of fun with this thing- you'd think it's useless as a fighter but the low stall speed, 23mm cannon and amazing turnrate/good flaps help a lot!

The American one gets the fuel tanks, while italien one doesn't and turns faster!, Just.make the pods removable!

Take rockets then fire them all at the beginning of the match. notice the empty pylons and the ammo counter for rockets. this is the American one, hence the big ass USAF on the wings and the American stars.

Hey Defyn when you are shooting what do you focus on? I find it really hard to aim when the terrain is in the background making my crosshair hard to see
Could we ever get a guide for the T-2 or F-104J or just an in depth guide to the basics of top tier jets? I have been trying to grind the high tier Japanese jets so I could get the F-4EJ Kai quickly but I realized that I suck at flying top tier jets.
Keep your speed up. Make a pass, break off, gain separation. Use the vertical when turning back in to the fight.
Is there any real reason for taking rockets so you don't jave the fuel tanks on wing tips?

I was already having a bad day, just bought the MiG-15 and kept getting uptiered lol. I saw someone head on him and live but didn't continue the chase, he was going behind us, logically someone has to stop him from killing us all from behind, but I ended up being the only one that seemed to want to stop him. Ended up getting PL in that second climb and you see what happened. I've gotten used to how the MiG works since then and not going in front of the enemy lol.
I almost had forgotten this, but I did attempt to apologize afterwards in PMs.
Not sure if that's right but I feel like uptiering in air rb is not as bad as ground rb
I'm just a prop player and I don't own any jet yet but I think my main reason of losing fights is there are more numbers of enemy fighters in higher altitude than my team.
Because altitude advantage is so strong and not every pilot is as good as Defyn, unless I am facing XP-50 in my bf109 e4, but otherwise I don't feel that bad being uptiered in air rb

Jets to some extend is compressed as hell
It feels like 0.3 is the same as 1.0 br in props at some points

Question: how do u fight Japanese fighters and a less maneuverable aircraft, say a 109. I know maintaining energy is a thing but sometimes it feels like it isn't enough
The current german vs japan matchup is a pain, Germany suffers even more against japan than the Russians
Simple boom and zoom or bait it into an slow oval climb by the time you turn around he is stalled
read your and your enemy's energy states to know what you can and can't do on a certain scenario. i can run all over spitfires in d-13 if i have energy advantage. if i don't, there are always 2 things:
1) try to equalize energy (diving, separating, then maybe a vertical yoyo) ;
2) try to reverse him ( very risky, but very rewarding xd)
i suggest you watch his d-13 video and most importantly his guides on energy fighting.

It's absolutely boring to do BnZ, just diving on someone while they either turn or dive away and then u go back up and fly for more 5 minutes aaaaaand repeat. No one has that kind of patience while playing a game.

hi i just played the new update is it just me or planes are more prone to overheat now than previous update cuz i was using the f4u usmc and rifgt after i got into 12k feet it starts to overheat the engine that didnt happened before

bind a free look camera control to the C key on your keyboard and you're set
