When I see this plane, I think 2 engines, side by side crew, big bombs = A6 intruder
2 engines, 2 crew members, 20mm cannon, funny radar, wacky maneuverability, strong flaps = basically a Tomcat

When I look at this plane It makes me think of the A6 intruder. It might be because of the side by side crew, or the positioning of the engine intakes.

This plane used to be god tier in sim back when it had radar aim assist. It was so cool how it worked, lock your target and the sight would disappear and float independent of the glass. Line up the sight centered on the target and it was a guaranteed kill.
The MiG-19PT had this too, got a 40 kill to 0 death EC game with it.

@@ianturner3926 yeah it also had it in Sim too. It was funky since you had both the green line and circle and the floating sight. The floating sight was so cool tho, wish it were back, cmon gaijin, atleast just in Sim.

I always found the F3D criminally underrated for its BR. It’s fantastic for 7.0!
I wish all F2D players would try to play like this instead of clowning about with bombs and blindfolds.

1:55 to 2:12 Even though this isn't a prop video exactly what DEFYN says here applys very well to sideclimbing in props when facing teams with better climbing planes. Especially for US in mid tier props sometimes it better to sideclimb a bit and have more patience than the enemies and wait for an opportunity to be useful. Rather than groundpounding instead of climbing or full commit headon against the first guy you come across. US players follow this advice!

The only issue with sideclimbing is leaving US air RB teams alone for any portion of the match lmao
in air these days if u have patience u will just end up getting no kills, everybody else is impatient and being patient may save ur plane but it wont get u any kills sometimes

I believe on his Venom video he talked about how he doesn’t enjoy planes like those because you opponents must make a mistake or something like that. You can check it out, the video came out recently too!

@@IHaevATajpo still have the same problem where everyone see the spitfire tag over your plane and people run from you and you can't catch them unless they make a mistake or you spend the the entire game at altitude driving on people but there are planes that do it better and it's alot of doing nothing in that play style. There is a video by squishface someone who i know defyn watches that has a video on the topic of why content creators don't touch the 5.7 griffin spits
@@liammartinez1484well in my experience the Mk.14e was fairly good, it climbs well, it’s got brutally good acceleration and it’s decently fast and it really doesn’t feel like your average hold S to win plane, so from my point of view I really don’t see what makes it so bad all the content creators won’t touch it. Oh well, I guess it’s just me

Yeah, from what I've seen of the Skyknight from playing it, it's basically like a 262 Jabo except it's better in almost every conceivable way. Better engines, better maneuverability, better guns, better bombs, slightly better survivability. Everything the 262 can do, the Skyknight does better. Currently sitting at a 3:1 kill:death ratio, absolute monster.
Well, I wasn't sure if I was going to research this or not, guess that is decided. F3D looks like a fun plane to fly

If you like rockets, take the f-84b, if you like radar and heavy bombs, take the f3d

Only just trained my pilot for the F3D-1, assumed it'd be a bit of a boat. Turns out I quite like it, bit awkward to aim but hits hard.

hay DEFYN would it be possible to you to make a similar video to your energy fighting vids on how to set up at the begiining of games i always seem to be on the back foot even in good planes because i climb to the wrong location or not at the optimal angle and would like to know what you do differently/ what i could improve on in terms of the early game set up in Air RB
Don't overclimb. The first mistake I see all the time after people start actually climbing in air RB is that they climb too slowly. If you are going too slow you arent actually gaining altitude any faster, youre probably cooking your engines, and you aren't gonna get to the middle of the map soon enough. Side climbing isnt about just going towards the edge of the map, you want to cut out from the airfield and then turn back in across the path of your teammates about halfway through your climb. You pretty much always want to use MEC while climbing, and if your plane needs to switch supercharger gears at a certain altitude I usually use that time to make my turn.

Hey I think you should play the 3.3 p51 mustangs with Hispano cannons. I’ve been playing it for like the past week and it is such an enjoyable plane. You have good speed and handling for your br and those 20mm guns hit like a freight train. I’m a shit player and I have fun I’d love to see what you could do with it.

I wonder what the best nation for the future of air RB at top tier will be. I have no knowledge of aircrafts outside of the game but I kinda know that USA, Russia and China are the big players. I really don't care about low tier or skill-heavy good guns, I'd love to have some good and fast missiles and maybe some speed to boom and zoom all day long.
“Because I don’t want them to do their attacks and then by the time I get back they’re done and we’ve possibly lost teammates for no real benefit” -I’m paraphrasing there but that’s my absolute biggest annoyance with teammates. They just do not understand that they need to intervene when enemies are going after friendlies because they gain absolutely nothing by waiting for teammates to get shot down.
Unless said teammate is a prop fighter who didnt climb, went for ground targets, and then started crying when the enemy team dives on them, those people both aremt worth saving and just get you killed.
My problem is that even when I try to help, they either fly away from everybody while screaming for help, or they fly head on with me, guaranteeing I can't get around the guy before they die.
DEFYN, that last guy was the same one talking shit in i think the third match.

What USA plane you consider the best option for air combat like you doing with F3D in this video at this same BR 7.0? The F3D itself, F84, F80 or anything else?
From my experience I'd say it's f-80, because it turns the best out of 3, but here again you only have 50 cals, I'd pick F3D for sb anyday, and I'm looking forward to research it for that

Honestlly i was afraid of trying this plane, i liked it on paper, but i got burned very much with some other striker airfs 'cause i only play fighters. But having played me 262 a1 a lot and enduring that torture, i might as well give it a go to this plane.

This was my favourite jet, and virtually the only one I enjoyed playing, until they nerfed AN/M3s into the ground for no good reason. Head-on monster with the twin pilots and twin engines, very tanky.

please, what is the best plane cannons elevation setting? is it 400m ? i saw in the head-on, you started shooting at around 1.7 km with a little compensation for the drop-off. Is this all played at 400m setting?
