I got a batch of 8 buttermilk. Taste is actually not bad (for me), and it was a bit thick like others mentioned. Just opened the cartoon and added some water to get all the content.

I realized that if you add jeera powder and a bit of salt in it and dilute it in water, it tastes exactly like masala chhaanch. Before that I could not bear the taste of this product and was regretting ordering 16 packs at once. Basically it's a non flavoured, concentrated form of chaanch only, since a 500ml pouch of chaanch will give you nearly same amount of protein. Adding 300ml of water to this protein lassi will give you the same consistency and adding the spices the exact same taste.
@@anuragmeshram4323 Yes with water you can definitely try. I used to mix the whole pack with 250-300ml water in a shaker. Add roasted jeera powder and a pinch of black salt/chat masala and mix well. Actually it can be a good curd substitute as well since it has a very smooth texture and since it has Whey solids, it will have comparatively less fat compared to curd. I tried to make raita with it as well and that tasted no different than what we make using Normal curd. So go for it if you are willing to put some work to add flavour to it. Otherwise for just protein content, half a litre of toned milk will do the job and cost the same.
25/15=1.6 rs per gm of protien which is price of this buttermilk 30/17 =1.7 rs per gm of protien which is price of normal buttermilk of amul (Not thick and has flavour but you will have to buy 1L) However this product also is super thick hence it will need to be diluted using water + some flavour you will have to add which will attract some additional cost obviously and this is not available redundantly in market :P So I think normal buttermilk is much better and cheaper option Also 500ML of Amul milk will provide 15G of protien and it is 26 rs which is very close to that of this product (I am talking about protien content here not fat and carbs please keep in mind that these milk alternatives are not lean source of protien like your conventional protien shakes and attracts Additional carbs and fats) So heres some additional options fellow gym peeps :P for completing our daily protien goal! Keep grinding!!
Got it delivered today. It tastes like sour curd. You get use to it eventually. Not going to crib about taste when I am use to having unsweetened creatine, bcca without flavours. Best thing is it has only 1 gm fat and pricing is terrific. No need to have paneer or casein. Have your whey protein, with eggs, chicken with brown rice, peanut butter,-avocado on toast, detox vegetable smoothies, and this butter milk.

I don't think that they have added more whey otherwise they'd have advertised it so because it's a good selling point. Yogurt itself has a good amount of protein so i think it is just strained yogurt with water added. Check the macros, they add up perfectly!

Try new shipment it's way way better... in the new packaging, they mentioned isolate whey. The test is fantastic (that very person to person) a bing thumbs up and thanks to Amul for such a product.
The way you should drink this is. Chill it in the freezer first. Then remove all the side cones of the packet,mix it itself in the pack with your thumb. Then cut one of the cones(any side),then pour it in your blender or shaker and add water(100 ml or 200ml). Then add a bit of chaat masala and kala namak(Himalayan pink salt). Then blend it for 20 sec or shake it...then pour it to your shaker cup and then enjoy it. This process takes a little time but it's worth it. If you shake it air bubbles gets formed so I prefer to blend it. Give it a try guys it's worth it. Thanks to Health By Kilo for the recipe.

i think the thickness of product varies batch to batch, the butter milk that I received was easy to drink with the straw, had no complaints and as for taste that is subjective, i found it tasty didn't need to add water or any spices to it
The packaging has also changed 1. Initially the primary tetrapack colour was white now its blue 2. Now the plastic straw has been replaced by a paper straw
