Company is doing aminos spiking because they have added l arginine in the protein they are too cheap and they are used to increase protein content
they have added 100 mg of arginine per 100g weight by weight, but this does not necessarily mean that you are loosing out on 100mg of protein, spiking with loose amino acids show proteins as way more than usual. so could be that there is way less protein in the product.
Can you please compare it with optimum Nutrition gold standard whey protein?

Amino spiking kiya hai. Any company that states they've added an extra amino acid, there's a 95% chance that it's amino spiked and since lab reports check for nitrogen compounds, even a separate Amino acid will register as protein.

@@srisaiyegurwar529 , nah. There are companies that still provide at this rate. So, that's not the thing. I'm pretty sure it's like 90-95% isolate and 10-5% hydrolysate. But yes, anytime you see an extra amino acid in the list, there's a huge chance that it's spiked.
they have added 100 mg of arginine per 100g weigth by weigth. that's 33mg per serving ..even if the lab test reports all of it as protein,how big of a difference does it make ?

@@health_ness a full right form of complete protein is made of all the essential and non essential amino acids. But free form amino acids are cheaper, and so, some use it to spike the protein powders to make it cheaper. Since they're in free form, but still nitrogenous compounds, they'll register as protein in any test, but in practicality, you'll get no benefit from free form amino acids. So, for instance, if there's 25g of protein in 30g of a company's protein, and 2g of that is due to amino spiking of one or more than amino acid, then you're basically losing out on that 2g of protein, bringing the protein content to 23 instead of 25. Per scoop, it sounds negligible. But when it comes to 33 scoops, you're losing out on 66g then. It doesn't sound like too big of a deal, but the companies earn a shit ton by giving you lesser protein than advertised.

Also any reason why despite a big dairy industry in india we do not have whey produced in the country.

It's not that whey isn't produced in India mate. It depends on the company , where is it situated . For eg Optimum Nutrition and Muscletech are Ameriacn and Chinese companies. So obviously they'll have their whey extracted elsewhere , why India? Companies won't extract whey in tye countries where their customers live right? Hope u understand
