Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. She has been profiled in Artsy, Hyperallergic, KPCC, & WBUR.

@@artprof From what I understand at our local university the teaching staff actually encourage and reward it.
Oh don't worry, it's not just a "today" thing. In my high school art class in the 80's the teacher would have older artists come from the colleges to show us slides of their work. One woman stole a McDonald's tray and spray painted it white. And that was the piece of art, and when she left, we exclaimed exactly what the students in this clip did lol.
