Mark Hewitt throwing a ' straight' mug

March 24, 2021 - The last mug of the day, mug #151. Mark narrates this quick video of him making what he calls a 'straight mug' in about a minute and a half. Having started at 8:30am, he's made 150 mugs. Here he makes just one more (and we get to watch,) before quitting for the day.
The following day he will add the handles, and on the third day the decorations. These were fired in May, in Firing 105 of his massive wood-burning kiln.
