    This is probably the best definition of 'being normal'. It's not being about ordinary or average, it is about knowing that you are not alone.

    Very true . I find that a lot family in modern society always try to disencourage people to do what they love and are passionate about and instead try to lock them into a mindset or as I would say put them on a leash to drag them to whatever job or hobby they find fitting .

    inspiring! why games are so attractive or even addictive? fairly achievable challenges and rewards and ranking and everyone gets something wherever you rank!

    I love this! It's so important for people to know that whatever it is they are struggling with, it's normal! I also loved the idea of setting challenges, that's brilliant.

    It's great how you can dismiss someone like that with real hard facts that are clearly not prejudiced!!! This guy made a free app to try to change the relationship between parents and children by empowering children in things they don't usually feel they have control over. Whether he is right or not, he is trying to do something great, at least have respect for that.

    If parents aren't having fun with their kids, they're missing out big time. Put an accountability chart on the wall so that even parents can have consequences. Mom yells, she has to make the kids' bed for a week ... You get the idea. Happy kids, happy parents, happy family :)

    • @robertasmith6402

      Bratbusters Parenting Services Inc. ah yes, a corporate accountability chart. and...uh huh. reverse engineer. Well, the sing song cheerleader voice in mothers now, puts the child into trance. Then the mother is programming the child. But then teaching requires love. And as the leader in world wide memes did say: "there is no love here" Well, no there is not. Be sure and teach your little robot offspring the fake robot smile and how to pose like a human being, going from one pose to the next in the "life" called a "reality" program. I give the macro you offered an eight on the scale of ten for good artificial programming.

    2:27 I wouldn't go as far as saying all kids are. I've have not yet had that issue and he is 7.
    Sleep (routine or try to as much as possible)
    Teeth are brushed morning and night and sometimes during the day just for kicks.
    Meal time, the kid eats everything lol but we never allowed the "he/she don't like it" method but rather try and develope a toungu for it (never forced). Good things come from good foods, muscle, brain awareness
    Hygiene, gotta keep clean shower ever single day....
    It's all how you teach the kid and if you give into their feelings. They don't know what's good for them, heck we don't know what's good for us as adults and even then...... So we teach them as much as we can.... Show them the meaning of gratitude, respect and life raising children could lead to easier moments etc. It's not all rainbows but trying really helps and it shows..

    The only reason a parent would resent a child doing what they want and going thier own way is if the parent is dissatisfied with the amount of children they have.
    If they had more children, they would be satisfied with them because one would come along and fit the description of what they are missing out on.

    • @LoganSmithtaichi
      @LoganSmithtaichi 6 років тому +1

      @the missing link No its not. Its statistical. Math and statistics dont lie. Look up the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem. Renowned principles they are.

    • @LoganSmithtaichi
      @LoganSmithtaichi 6 років тому

      @the missing linkUnfortunately some children would be better off being raised by wolves.
      You may know of the stories like this.
      Do a search on it.
      But it would be the best thing for all parents to raise thier children with love and attention.

    Looks like you are on to something here Kyle. There is an idea that all parents only have problems with their kids and everyone else does not, is just not true. The parents should choose to unite so they can heal and all feel empowered. We have been reverse engineering this parenting concept for the past 20 years. The first approach was in 1994, the observation was that kids would ask parents to do or have something and the parent would almost right away say no, not right now, we don't have time for that, we can't afford it now, etc. The child would always feel not empowered on some level when they shared what was important to them at any age (2-18yr). This observational approach will never produce long-term happy relationships. The question now is "How do you create the opposite or a long-term happy relationships?" Is there a way to stop saying NO to children and always say YES without just giving them everything? 1994 marked the starting point of the journey to finding this answer which later was called " CREATING CHAMPIONS FOR LIFE". We would like to be of any service to your mission. The idea of like minded driven people coming together for the better of man kind to HEAL - UNITE - EMPOWER is a very worth while cause.

      I think the first step is being sure that your potential spouses both have similar parenting styles in mind before they ever marry or think of having children, making a "united front" much easier. In answer to the question about not always having to say "no" and "yes" instead (using common sense when it comes to alcohol, drugs, sex, and anything that could have damaging consequences), I always gave my children options. Whether it was what they wanted to wear or which time they wanted their chores completed. My children are 23, 18, 13, & 11 and we've had a pretty harmonious home raising our family and all 4 kids have been high achievers. I do love the advice Kyle has presented and would love to work his ideas in with raising youngest two that are still at home.

    Science and data has nothing to do with modern day parenting. Sure, it's harder than what my parents did with me but I've learned to adapt my parenting skills because of theirs. And I've done a good job. Sure, my daughter plays up occasionally (She's a teenager and I expect that) but me and her mother (my wife) work as a team. That is the essential part of parenting. Not science or data.

    Your loss.if you want to write him off. Sounded like a bunch of good ideas to me.
    Personally I don't judge ideas on the so-called "credibility" of the person delivering them. I make my mind up whether they sound like good ideas.
    But people like you just love to knock stuff.
    Well it's your loss.

    Gun Safety and Sex Education are too neglected by parents. These kids are being raised by internet, tv, and school because mommy and daddy are too occupied by bills, news, and soap operas to talk to their kids about important topics and spend time with them in general. Another key reason kids aren't being taught by their parents is because they themselves don't have guns or condoms. Most mothers don't understand sex because if they did, they would've waited to get pregnant.

    I think it is obviously wrong to say people are parents( as is said) Single moms aint parenting, unless they are on welfare. Dads aint parenting( if theyre doing traditional provider, mommy model roles) The dads just go back and forth between, ill kick your ass- and good job, or alt , go ask your mother. So the male becomes the enforcer and the female becomes the live in nurse. Single dads aint parenting, because they usually do the, so basicly the family aint functional(truth),..so what, make the best if it, and dont get caught..Parents are parents because society says they are, not because they are, but then again, having all the basic needs covered, is much better then, go eat out of a trash barrel, lets go to the soup kitchen downstairs, cos we live in the shelter upstairs, or Tiny Tim as soon as he leaves , sqeeze between his screen door, bump the lock, threw all his food out the back window, get out, and meet me back at the abandon building by the fire plug. Or your10...time to kill an enemy prisoner or some stuff. To a lot of kids tho, you aint parents
