    The jrod gives you the option for rinsing as well. I just my jrod for 90% of all my jobs. Nice work!

      Yeah I used to use the Jrod for rinsing, but I like the way the m5 can adjust to different fan patterns, but I always have the jrod just in case

    I live in Michigan and I always wet down the house first because you can oxidize shock the house if you apply SH straight to the oxidation.

    Could you explain how you’re pulling chemical? I would greatly appreciate it!

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  4 місяці тому +1

      I’m pulling chemical through my downstream injector and JROD. The downstream injector connects to the pressure washer and pulls chemical through your hose and out your tips. The JROD has specific tips that you use that allow chemical to pull through and also specific tips that only will pull water. This is the chemical injector I use. amzn.to/3Zfewcp

    • @lukeraglin

      I make sure to pre wet it before and right after if chemical gets on it, so that usually makes sure it doesn’t hurt the wood

    When you say you are pulling soap @2:56, are you referring to SH? or do you mix your SH with soap in the tank?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes referring to SH and I mix my surfactant in my SH tank as well so it sticks a bit better

    • @KelonOWedderburn
      @KelonOWedderburn 6 місяців тому +1

      @@lukeraglin I read that mixing it in the tank would reduce the effectiveness, any take on that?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  6 місяців тому +1

      @KelonOWedderburn SH alone loses strength over time especially when exposed to the sun, mixing it with soap can reduce it too but since I only have a 15 gallon tank, that’s lasting me about 4-5 days till I refill and I haven’t had any issues with it not being effective

    So using the xjet tip will NOT pull chem through the injector? Same as switching from soap tip to rinse tip on the Jrod?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  7 місяців тому

      Exactly. Since it has that barb, it cuts off the ability to pull chemical. It’s like using a jrod but more flexibility to rinse with twisting for different patterns.

    • @murtaghslawncare5861
      @murtaghslawncare5861 6 місяців тому +1

      What %SH are you using and what does it dilute to using x Jet?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  6 місяців тому

      I’m using 12.5% SH, downstreaming it automatically dilutes to 1.5%. With the x jet, if you have 12.5% SH and are not using any proportioner tips, you’ll be getting around a 4-5% depending on your gpm. Mines a 4gpm

    What part of Texas do you live?
    And I was wondering, what are your prices for house , roof wash, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing for the house you just did?

    • @lukeraglin
      @lukeraglin  7 місяців тому

      I’m in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pricing depends on the size definitely but something like this, I charged $195 since I service this client every 6 months. Usually I charge $240 for house washes for a basic one story home, gutter cleaning is around $140 for one story, roof washing around $500 minimum and can go up from there.
      I try to target $100-$150 an hour, gotta pay the taxes, bills, chemicals, other stuff
