The reason for an x jet and an m5 twist is to switch from water to chemical instantly without having to go back to the truck and take your dip stick out of the chem tank. Since the M5 twist will pull chemical, you can switch to the X jet and that cuts off chemical going through your line. Since the X jet has the barb, it pulls air which cuts off chemical. It’s like using a JROD and how different tips pull water and different tips pull chemical. Let me know if that helps. I appreciate you watching!
Good afternoon, compliments for a job well done, you love this job and you are very precise, what do you use to wash the walls of the house and concrete, besides water, good luck in life and work, greetings from Serbia
Hi Luke, thank you for your videos! on 4:08 you say "if there are drip marks I will get rid of them right away", as far as I understand you are talking about marks on oxidized siding, can you tell how to get rid of them?
Hey thanks for the comment, I’m mostly talking about drip marks when SH isn’t rinsed well enough. If you don’t rinse the house well you’ll see some SH still on the house as it dries. I tend to see it more on oxidized houses so I’m able to keep an eye on it as it dries and if I see some SH drying, I can just give it another rinse
I like to have it on so in case I need to talk to a customer or some one walks by to ask a question, I can open the ball valve and let water out so it doesn’t burn the pump
I always have water running through the pump, that’s why I have the ball valve, so if a customer comes and wants to do a walk around I can open the ball valve and have water running through it
@@lukeraglincan you explain that a bit better? So you close the ball valve when youre not gonna be pulling the trigger for a while in order to not overheat the pump?
@lukeraglin I'm about to softwash a couples facia and soffit. It's not very bad, but I can't get 12.5% from any local stores. I'd be downstreaming about .91% with 10%SH. When I was at their home giving an estimate, I was able to use a little dawn on a sponge to remove the dinge, so i hope it's enough. Otherwise, I can just xjet for the additional .09%, which i personally think is unnecessary, but I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Luke. Love the content.
@on3bulao you should be good downstreaming 10%. If it’s just facia and soffits you shouldn’t need a super hot mix. I usually will wash that with about a 1% and they turn out great
This is extremely helpful, great tip Luke!
Great Video Bro!
Nice work man, I got the downstream injector you told me and it’s workin nice w the xjet
That’s awesome glad it’s working out! As long as you rinse it out often it should last you a while
Nice video what Camera are you using?
I use the GoPro hero 11 on a head mount 👍🏼
Hey Luke, why is there a need for two X-jets? Would not one X-jet handle both chemical application and the rinse? Great video by the way. Thanks….

@@lukeraglin Thanks Luke as I was also confused.
Clears it up for me to 😮😂

Hey Luke love the setup. are you still able to sub out and use your xjet m5 twist from your 5 gal bucket when you need say a 2-4% mix with this setup?
Like it’ll still pull chem from the bucket whenever you need that stronger mix?
Yes it sure will, you can use the x jet as intended

Heres a tip why use the ball valve if not surface cleaning ? No need, just adds weight.

@ Really? How many times does that happen and why not just turn off the machine?
@vcash1112 cause I like to do it my way, works for me and your way works for you

hey so i have the same washer almost the powerhorse one and was wondering you dont care about leaving the trigger off? wont it break the water pump?

@@heibelmedina2301 im guessing so that’s the only way to think of it
What percentage of SH are you using? 10 or 12.5? I have the same setup. Just wondering if i need 12.5. Been using 10%.
I use 12.5% from my local pressure washing store. If they’re closed I’ll pick up some 10% from Walmart

@lukeraglin Awesome! Thank you, sir!
So than is technically a 1.25 mix
Sht. thought its a SNAKE near the buffer/chemical tank
