Yes m5 to apply chem and x jet to rinse. I don’t have any issues with flow with the x jet. It has a more powerful stream, higher pressure it seems. The point of this is to switch from chem to water and vise versa without having to go back and forth to the truck and removing any dipsticks. Switching the tips makes it more efficient for your washing

@@lukeraglin I understand, the thing with mine was, it would pull soap whe the X-JET was on. Its a #16, do you recall what X-jet you have? I'M thinking its a #13 for a 4gpm, smaller oriface = no pull of chem and faster stronger flow

I’m using a predator 4400 psi 4.2 gpm with SH pre treatment

The reason for an x jet and an m5 twist is to switch from water to chemical instantly without having to go back to the truck and take your dip stick out of the chem tank. Since the M5 twist will pull chemical, you can switch to the X jet and that cuts off chemical going through your line. Since the X jet has the barb, it pulls air which cuts off chemical. It’s like using a JROD and how different tips pull water and different tips pull chemical. Let me know if that helps. I appreciate you watching!

I have a 4 gpm pressure washer, it just takes SH from the tank to downstream. 15 gallons usually lasts me 3-5 days depending on what I’m doing

@lando3972 I don’t have a 12V pump, just the downstream injector that goes through the pressure washer and I use the x jet at times but no 12V

@lando3972 nice yeah I plan on getting a 12V in the future but don’t have the room on my truck at the moment. Possibly once I upgrade to a bigger skid I’ll get a 12V

Downstream injectors allow chemical to pass through the line when you use the appropriate tips, which are generally low pressure tips without any holes suctioning air. Since the X jet has more pressure than the M5 and also has the barb that pulls air when not in use, it cuts off the SH being pulled by the chemical injector

It’s rated up to 12 gpm. Tons of people use this gun and have great results. I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s awesome. I’d definitely get one especially for the price

Hey man! Appreciate the comment. For me I’ll use surfactant when I’m washing stucco houses or roof washes. You’ll want to use surfactant mainly for your SH chemical to stick to the surfaces more rather than slip off. If I’m doing a vinyl home or hardy board, I won’t use surfactant since it takes more time to rinse and it’s not needed as much as with stucco you want the SH to stick more to the surface. Same with roofs you want to use a good amount of surfactant so your SH doesn’t easily fall down the roof and on to the grass or bushes. I used to use surfactant on everything because it masks the smell, but over time you get used to it and I haven’t had any client complain about the smell of SH, many clients like it because it’s a clean smell and they know their house is getting clean

That’s my pure water hose. Connects to my water fed pole system and created pure water to clean windows

About a 1% mix and I have straight 12.5% in my tank, my injector dilutes it to around a 1

I make sure to pre wet it before and right after if chemical gets on it, so that usually makes sure it doesn’t hurt the wood
