It's really a shame there isn't that much live concert footage of Ozzy playing with Randy out there. Randy was a true talent, taken from this world all too soon. If you can believe it, Randy was going to quit rock n' roll and go to school to get his Masters in music. Unfortunately, fate had other plans for Mr. Rhoads. Very cool Shawn and Lady Mel can keep his spirit alive.
This video was specifically made as a tribute to Randy Rhoads after he died in a plane crash at age 25. Randy was the Greatest ever. There were several iconic songs Randy did in only 18 months before he died. Randy was the guitar player for the original Quiet Riot also \mXm/
You can't kill Rock and Roll. Tonight. Goodbye to romance. Diary of a madman. Castles are burning. See you on the other side. Dreamer. Shot in the dark.
Great reaction. Iconic song an unforgettable guitar riff . How the Hell did I miss this! Had 🔔 turned on. Ozzy and Randy on the 🎸. I’m here late so I’ll just say great reaction.😀👍❤️✌️🌼
It'missivng the 3rd verse after the solo, instead jumping immediately to the chorus. Plus the album is heavily overdubbed, you want the After Hours version with Randy Live: ua-cam.com/video/hIh2FH8DYQ0/v-deo.html
This video was done in honor of Randy Rhoads who had previously passed away. There not much concert footage from him. He was a complete virtuoso and such a loss. I suggest you listen to Mr Crowley, Over the Mountain , Suicide Solution and even You Cant Kill Rock and Roll to hear some incredible Rhoads riffs.
That was the Rhodes Tribute version. I picked up a guitar because of Ace Frehley, but it was Randy Rhodes that showed me what was possible with it. He’s the reason I diversified and started learning other styles. Songs from this album: I Don’t Know Mr. Crowley Goodbye to Romance Suicide Solution Steal Away the Night No Bone Movies Revelation (Mother Earth)
Mr Crowley...cool lyrics and great guitar work. My personal favorite is GOOD BYE TO ROMANCE...It has about 6 guitar tracks (over dubs)...studio version is best.
To the beautiful young lady, no they didn't steal it from Ozzy. Ozzy was actually very happy to grant then rights to use his song. He's one of the most chill rockstars of all time
Do mr Crowley from Ozzy. If you think crazy train is good mr Crowley is epic. Randy rhodes was the guitar player he died in plane crash. One of the best metal guitar players ever!
Ozzy had passed and slept on the tour bus parked in his front yard. His wife Sharon, fortunately for her, had fallen asleep on the couch downstairs watching TV and wasn't in her and Ozzy's bed in their bedroom upstairs. Guitarist Randy Rhodes thought Ozzy was asleep in his bedroom in the house. Rhodes got Ozzy & Sharon's maid and talked the pilot of their tour Lear Jet into taking them up because he wanted to "buzz" Ozzy's bedroom with the tour plane to wake him up just to mess with him. On one of the passes over the house the pilot had the plane too low and slammed into the top of Ozzy & Sharon's house, sadly killing the pilot, their maid, and guitarist Randy Rhodes. The story can be googled and found on-line.

There is one , not the best quality ... But still, Randy live ❤️ ua-cam.com/video/EISy_qeJ38c/v-deo.html
Randy was a god if it wasn't for randy and eddy music would be different
there is another that pretty much is just about randy
not a music video kinda documentary sort of thing
You got that right dear. It's a shame to us all.
This song is about the cold war. One of the most recognisable guitar riffs in rock history.
RANDY RHOADS FOREVER! RIP!
I agree 💯👍
Randy Rhoads used to seek out guitar lessons as he traveled the country while on tour believing there was always more he could learn.

Randy had a signature play ing style like no other! His mother ran a musical school
This IS DEFINITELY the best version of this song ,hands down 🤟

Live Tribute version from 1981 with Randy Rhoads/Ozzy
Randy Rhoads was the guitarist...He was the best

Randy Rhoads RIP GONE But NEVER FORGOTTEN!
Ozzy was looking for a guitarist when Randy Rhodes walked in. Ozzy heard Randy TUNING HIS GUITAR and hired him on the spot
I think was done as a tribute to the late great Randy Rhoads...this was a rock supergroup w Tommy Aldridge on drums Rudy Sarzo on bass n Ozzy.
The solo is on fire. Lord. Great reaction.
Love watching you guys discover The OG of Metal. Randy Rhodes was a legend that died way to young.
Mr Crowley...cool lyrics and great guitar work.
My personal favorite is GOOD BYE TO ROMANCE...It has about 6 guitar tracks (over dubs)...studio version is best.
❤ just rolled into your crazy train I'm going to stay awhile
Randy well deserves his “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” nod. (And. Ozzy deserves his second honor for his solo work.)
To the beautiful young lady, no they didn't steal it from Ozzy. Ozzy was actually very happy to grant then rights to use his song. He's one of the most chill rockstars of all time
New background nice and the audio is louder cool
It was the only album he made with ozzy
. he died in late mid 80s just after the album......
\m/ OZZY \m/
"Flying high again" from ozzy is epic
Randy was a Classically trained guitarist.
If you haven't yet you should check out LILIAC. They did a cover to this and it's by far the best cover ever to this song. By far actually.
Do mr Crowley from Ozzy. If you think crazy train is good mr Crowley is epic. Randy rhodes was the guitar player he died in plane crash. One of the best metal guitar players ever!
There's a live version (it looks like some TV show, but man does it showcase Randy Rhodes playing), the sound is quite good too.
When Randy died it really shook Ozzy. Seen Ozzy 13 times live. Love him in concert
Randy Rhoads on the guitar
He's known as the Prince of Darkness
Randy got you, girl...air guitar❗
Lol how did you guys just hear this song four months ago you been living under a Damn rock or what . Try ozzy ordinary man

You gotta get your girl a guitar !!!
P.S. My experience is that almost every one of my black friends end up loving metal. A lot of it is screw The Man, look at The World and Fight Back!!!
I’m going off up here in Alaska
Probably heard this at sporting events as well..
The Prince of Darkness
Randy Rhoads !!!!!
The prince of darkness
That's what you call a "banger"!
The original video is better.
I'm requesting Sam and Dave From back in the 60s
Randy Rhoads #1, The Master
I am a big fan of his "Perry Mason". Just something about it.
Randy Rhoades the guitar player and ozzy wrote this together.
RIP Randy Rhodes
Please react to I Believe by Blessed Union of Souls. It will knock you out.
Trick Daddy.
Thank you for saying they stole it. Not sampled it.
Now I know that they divide opinion and that other sports teams use this song but this always makes me think of my team the New England Patriots!!😁😁
Try to newer ozzy song I don't Wana stop under the grave yard he still has it
randy was the death of him
I used to love watching your videos but here lately you pause the song to many times destroys the experience of the song in my opinion
You do cut in way to much ! Rite when leads start and changes start ! Always bad timing on your part !
They all steal these days from real artists that were actually talented not like these jokers these days.
