The Kelsey spring look an item looks like a mechanical shock of some sort but it would be a lot older with these cars are. Just a thought. The 56 Pontiac at 33 minutes and change. Four-door to 2 door conversion. For a 56 Chevy. The front of the rear quarter panels. Used as a patch panel on something else generic. Buy the right gauge of tin and weld back in. You got a lot of great cars.
I just watched your vacation video and enjoyed it very much. This video was a nostalgic look at my youth. The newer cars may be more reliable but that old iron from the 40’s and 50’s is so beautiful and distinct. I’m older than dirt and it brings a tear to my eye to see these cars. Thank you Silas.
👍👌👏 Oh WOW, what simply fantastic items and vehicles. Congratulations 🎉 for purchasing all this. 2) Maaan, you know your stuff! 👍👍👍 Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved.
I see you talk about selling car parts for art all the time. I'd love to see a video some day that goes into more detail on your process of selling the art parts and maybe even include some pictures or videos of the final projects.
I don’t build them. I sell them as is. I’ve shown cutting the noses and trunks off many times. Check out my “most offensive video I’ve never made” video for reference!
That looks like a lot of work, but lots of fun figuring out what goes together. I know you have a big investment wrapped in all those cars and parts but with time I think you can make a nice chunk of money. Thanks again for taking time to walk around and share them with us. Stay safe. Peace
Back in the 70's I would go to a weekly police auction every friday morning and they woulld sell 60's Comets for $65 apiece. They were usually complete and in good condition. Some even ran. It hurt me to not get some but I had no where to store e them.. This was in Louisvile, Ky. police tow in lot.
Nice line up, some of those cars you really should make your money back on pretty easy, Wish I was in better health I'd definitely like to purchase a couple from you to rebuild! ✌☺
That fastback Caddy I bet will sell whole, pretty rare! Another 57 Pontiac with a valuable rear. Lots of money to be made, some real solid cars. I'd say you did real well with that four speed T-bird. Those retractables are so rare I'd bet someone buys it. Same with that V12 Lincoln!
Looks real good I think if you put that roof to be removable, you can put a black back window on like the convertibles have with snaps very good job. Good job.
hi Salis , thar Dodge truck, looks like a high side Dodge Ute (pick-up truck) Had all metal sides and tailgate, some were 6 volts, soe were 12 volts. my dad had a couple of them.
I sure hope you do a treasure hunt through a lot of these cars! Not only with the bonus parts but a lot with seats could have old silver coins and who knows!!!!
I often go to junk yards, pull-n-pay lots and salvage yards to look thru old cars, trucks and the like searching out old, aged and desirable coins and/or related collectible paraphernalia. I am often rewarded with old coins and sometimes silver coins as well. Keep up the hunt.
* Hey Silas you bought a 46-48 Merc ! I should buy the stainless moldings off ya to put back on mine. What do ya think ? Would my Merc look better with the hood sides and body side moldings back on it ? 👊😎👍
27:35 that's a 1965 Ford. I had one, same 4 door, same color, but mine had a 289. I know it's a 65 because of the "L" shaped body line on the lower front fender. Only the '65 had that. Pretty cool car, even though it's a 4 door, especially with the 390!
You found some nice cars and parts this time. I bet you could make at least 3 complete cars out of that bunch. A turnpike cruiser engine is much hotter than a 312 merc.i never seen a 2 door turnpike cruiser tho. Nice parts for sure!
I would like to see you join Friends with, Fab Rats, Matts off road Recovery, Robby Layton, Trail Mater, Chads Fab. They will Definitely want A Lot of your stuff.
Just came across your channel and love it! Not sure where you're located but I know it's far from me so wanted to say hi from Miami's Classic Car scene. Great video!
Where can one find information for auctions like these? I would love to go to auctions where they have old vehicles. I'm from West Texas and enjoy your channel. :-)
Thanks for your nice and long (I always like) video! If you compare the quality of cars of the past, with the quality of today's cars, the bodywork then, surely the one of the past is so much better. So much nice chrome, and nice bumpers. Nowadays, many cars are largely made of some kind of plastic or tin. And you used to be able to just replace a bumper. Nowadays you have to replace half the car. The engine compartment of my car is so full of electronics that if I need to replace a light bulb, you can't just “simply” do that anymore. With the more expensive Mercedes models you can't even change a bulb anymore, you have to order a complete new headlight unit, which costs a few thousand euros. (roughly equivalent in Dollars). Anyway, I hope you can find some customers for your purchased cars. Thanks for your nice video, and I look forward to the next one. Have a great week!!!
for those missing tail light find someone with a 3D placite priner to print them. , the printer are getting lower priced . but you need to know CAD. check with school in compter class.
I would check flywheel on that thunder bird it could be 428 or 390 that top loader worth 1000 if that's 428 motor trans 2500 would be good deal if there matching numbers on that rear the bars that was under leaf springs was factory seen them on straight shift cars that would control wheel hop
Fun video! That poor '63 Corvair Monza convertible is gutted, but can still yield some good parts. Lots of cool Mercs! That 57 Pontiac sedan is definitely a saveable car, too bad the sport sedan is toast. Will be cool seeing more content on these cars and trucks! Great video (I'll pretend I didn't hear you and Shawn/Sean/Shaun accuse the early model Corvairs as ugly! 😂(we all know the comet's rear ends are hideous!😂) Keep it up, love these videos! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You and Sean were going through all those cars I’ve seen so many spiders do you guys ever get spider bites? I am scared to death of spiders. You’re not worried about spiders? I know in your work and all the years you probably have become immune to spiders and bugs, let us know on one of your Vlogs please. I love all your shows. I have been watching you for years and years. You are the best!!
Hi Silas, in this video there is a 46 to 48 Mercury coupe that you bought, it has the left side quarter cut away. Would you be interested in selling the rear window trim and possibly the rear window if it is clear and in good condition ? Would you give me a price and also let me know if it is possible to ship to eastern Pennsylvania. Thank you, Rick
My dad has a 57 ford retractable hard top it’s been off the road since 72 it came to us as a roller so I’ll ask him if there’s anything he’s looking for maybe you will have it
How long will it take to process these vehicles and either cut them up or part them out or simply resell them? In other words, to get them off your land?
Time is kinda irrelevant when he has space as he likes looking at old cars, with that in mind a lot depends on how much time he works at his dad's two yards, Sean and Skyler's availability to help him cutting up cars and trucks, how much demand from people for parts. Some cars will be gone quickly if the price is right for scrap metal, if the price is low he's been known to sit on them for a long time, there's no way to guess how long all these cars will take to move, some may never leave.
Brilliant Cars - Trucks - Pars etc - well done Silas - well done ! You gonna make Good Money from that Auction Collection - You got an Good Eye indeed ! Many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Its a shame the guy took a lot of the parts off the vehicles without selling them, I think it would have been better to just leave them all intact , then sell the parts off of them! That way way there would be no need to second guess what the parts were for! I bet a lot of the parts missing off the vehicles you bought are scattered throughout!
30:12 ive paused at this point, so if you reveal it later, i apologise. I've just looked up on eBay, and those belows are on there for £995 UK saying they're off a Jaguar E type 3.8 1961/2 If its the same part...theres your money right there. ❤
What we found in that Thunderbird was pretty crazy! Which car or find was your favorite?
I'm a Ford guy plus this whole series is very interesting to me! Waiting to see more on the series! 😊
Cyclone GT
Mercury Comet

I liked the '71 Montego. And I always like the Dodge trucks.

Wow what a collection of cars!

That red,/white disc that was in grain bin is a high tension warning disc. Warning for aircraft to avoid flying into high tension lines
Nice Collection of Cars Silas
Great video. The 41 Lincolns had thrum that went around the grille. Also had push button door handles and marker lights on the front fender tops.
Looks real good I think if you put that roof to be removable, you can put a black back window on like the convertibles have with snaps very good job. Good job.
Great adventure, Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hi Salis , thar Dodge truck, looks like a high side Dodge Ute (pick-up truck) Had all metal sides and tailgate, some were 6 volts, soe were 12 volts. my dad had a couple of them.
Would love to hear the V12 running. Now the fun begins.
Like the t-birds an 66 custom ford. I could use that 56 red ford truck cab. I hope to have one soon. Looks like alot of fun.
Nice Collection There Mates
The little bolt on camper is too cool!
Really cool video. I thought it was pretty whoopie lol
I sure hope you do a treasure hunt through a lot of these cars!

The hood ornament on the Ford PU is off 46-48 Ford car

The speedometers on the 57-58 Mercurys are extreamly hard to come by it took me 5 years to find one for my 57.
Very cool thanks 👍

The Dodge truck with fluid drive looks to have had the front clip replaced. Whatever it came from
had the fluid drive
You found some nice cars and parts this time. I bet you could make at least 3 complete cars out of that bunch. A turnpike cruiser engine is much hotter than a 312 merc.i never seen a 2 door turnpike cruiser tho. Nice parts for sure!
I like the traction bar setup on the t bird
Too much fun!
S-man buys everything!
Your logic for buying alot of these cars is asanine,,,it was here and so was i so i bought it. You said you spent over 50 thousand that day?? Amazing.
There’s money to be made on every one of them, some of them will bring 3-5x what I paid. But I don’t normally buy that many.
very good video Silas, enjoyed it 👍
You got a lot of work and winter is coming soon!!!
Awesome video Silas
I would like to see you join Friends with, Fab Rats, Matts off road Recovery, Robby Layton, Trail Mater, Chads Fab. They will Definitely want A Lot of your stuff.

I think that bellows thingy at 30:07 is a boost assist off of a Jaguar XKE
for those missing tail light find someone with a 3D placite priner to print them. , the printer are getting lower priced . but you need to know CAD. check with school in compter class.
I was really good at CAD 15 years ago. I’d have to learn it all over again now
Good video

Have need for deck lid for the gold 4dr mercury it fits 2dr s too
I dig that Merc in the snapshot! But the Caddy coupe was a standout. EDIT- The 41 Continental is the winner.🏅
The one Ford pickup that was mentioned as a '68 is probably a '67. '68s is the first year of side marker lights.
You bought some nice ones for sure 😂😂😅😅
Happy Days!!!!!!!!!! 4 more years!!!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!
30:01. Maybe that KH part is for air-ride suspension?
that was cool
I remember when you had no customers/subscribers.....under 100 and been here ever since.
You and Sean were going through all those cars I’ve seen so many spiders do you guys ever get spider bites? I am scared to death of spiders. You’re not worried about spiders? Do you have straight 47 ford front, rear bumpers
"Not going to buy much", famous last words, you were like a little kid in a candy store !
I want that Ranchero 🎉 the green 67
Check out speed bump garage. He has an old ranchero
That 49 Chrysler look very solid and not a parts car.
the comet has the "cat eyes" taillights
Many of those bodies would make good vintage race cars
Hi Silas, in this video there is a 46 to 48 Mercury coupe that you bought, it has the left side quarter cut away. The caddy is a 49 only one year 48 looks similar
K h also made brakes. That was old brakes parts

S22 should have an aluminum hood
What kind of crop was this man planting?
That stuff grows wild everywhere here. Kansas used to be huge on hemp farming decades ago, and birds have spread the seeds far and wide.
How long will it take to process these vehicles and either cut them up or part them out or simply resell them? In other words, to get them off your land?
