The king was Chuck Berry. Only reason Elvis ended up with it was because he was a white man in the 50s
Yeah true but no one ever gave Chuck Berry any credit
@@blackanimequeen2628 After Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977, the African American newspaper, the Chicago Defender explained that: “When Elvis Presley breathed his last breath and the press hailed him as the ‘King of Rock,’ Ol’ Man River cried out, ‘Naw he ain’t! My friend Chuck Berry is the King of Rock. Presley was merely a Prince who profited from the royal talent of a sovereign ruler vested with tremendous creativity. Had Berry been white, he could have rightly taken [Presley’s] throne and worn his crown well.’”
what are these rumours you claim people made about Elvis?
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 The rumor was he was pill addict.
Elvis deserved better and just how many cruel people in the music industry can be.
Sad to say it’s still happening now in the music industry
Think it's called Life
Sadly I caught covid and this weekend is my 78 year old mother Inlaw's birthday so we got to wait till I'm feeling better to take her to see the new Elvis movie because she loves Elvis.
I'm proud to have his middle name as my first name... Elvis "The King" Aaron Presley.
Are you? Why? He was a racist and a pedophile.
I don’t mean to disappoint you, but his middle name was only spelled with one A. Elvis Aron Presley. It is misspelled on his stone. His friend George Klein attested to that.
cringe as fuck
So proud in fact that you use "Jake" as your yt name.
Your middle name is "Cheeseburger"?
One of the greatest to ever do it, the king.
Big Elvis Presley fan and of Lisa Marie Presley too I grew up watching him
My father would tell me how bad Elvis's health was in his final days . He really let himself go .
The pills and his diet.
The poor man was on steroids for chronic infections. Give him a break.
I was on steroids too for a time and my weight ballooned also.
Huge Elvis fan.
The King is back but this Elvis movie feels like a 2 hour trailer and I love it
I’m a huge Elvis Presley fan
Yes yes yes yes. I have always loved ELVIS. And still DO. I think I was born loving Elvis.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Even legends have a past and most are sad(even with fame)
That's right.
yes Elvis did too. He liked 14 year old girls.
yes I am a fan and I went to the movie to see elvis Presley on my birthday
I am a ELVIS FAN! Thanks for the bio!
Our pleasure!
My (late) parents said they supported him when others didn't. I was probably around 8-10 when they bought me my 1st record - it was Elvis
But, as a young kid, I was totally in love with Davy Jones at that time! Years later, I was 16, on Aug 16th, 1977, and flying home from a vacation. The stewardess was coming down the isle, crying. Someone asked her what was wrong, and soon a LOT of the plane began quietly crying over his death. I wasn't into Elvis back then. It wasn't until I recently saw the movie "Elvis" that I discovered how used and abused that poor man was. I pray that he is in God's arms.
Awesome video Rebecca from watch mojo of the life of Elvis Presley, fantastic job.
🔝⚡👑Elvis the greatest entertainer Is Number One, ciao dall'Italia 🇮🇹🇺🇸🎸🎼🎤💙
Yes I am still a big fan of Elvis2022
I love Elvis
I cried at the end of the movie. So sad.
Big fan of Elvis. He had such talent, music business was tough. He made his living by music so he had to be all in so he could get noticed and stand out.
I’m a Fan of Oldies Music and it was mostly My Dad and my Grandmother who got me into Elvis I really love his music and he’s the reason why I want to be Good Looking Just Like Him😎😎
Love Elvis. Always have. A big reason why IS because he was so passionate about the music he played.

45 years ago today the world lost Elvis Presley❤️, August 16th 1977
R.I.P Elvis Presley❤️
love elvis always have father n law was a senator we had a bad tornado in mccomb ms elvis came and did a benefit concert that pic of them together is a treasure i remember the funeral my mom let me watch on tv i cried for days
just imagine ELVIS, PRISCILLA and LISA MARIE had a concert. and had a family reunion I would die if I saw that and cry too RIP ELVIS AROAN PRESLEY, WE ALL LOVED YOU SO MUCH.
I grew up seeing elvis movies, and the special and Vegas. Elvis was an icon and always there! This movie had parts that made me tear up. It makes me miss him. Austin has captured elvis somehow. It's quite amazing. All the acting is good, but Austin is the only one that seems like the real deal, the real person. Maybe that's because we never knew the colonel, Priscilla or Jerry schilling so irs hard to be exactly like them. With elvis, the number of documentaries movies, and interviews is enormous. Austin's "acting" goes the extra mile. I guess it's method acting. Boy does it work.
Love Elvis forever! He will forever be in our hearts. May he be rocking away with all God's angels, grinning and shaking away. Loved forever!!!
Yes thank you thank you very much
Yes I've been a fan since I was 5 in 1977.
I love elvis
My number one music ARTIST.NOBODY LIKE ELVIS . HE makes my life .AMEN❤
With Baz Luhrmann’s take on the life of Elvis already released, it had me thinking what would Elvis himself have been like had his career been on the right track and with the right people. They just took advantage of his fame and wealth.
he allowed it to happen, get of the grass.
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 no, he was sick. He had yes men around him 24/7 just because of who he was and it didn’t help that he was almost altruistic.
@@brittneyking4284 he knew he was a puppet to the colonel, he knew he was going to be found out that Elvis Was the King of Treating Women Like Shit and Luring 14-Year-Olds into Bed and he knew he was a drug addict.
Loved his voice but did not idolize him like some people did. My mom had the voice of an angel but her family were the only ones that got to enjoy it. So itook singers as what they were people with good singing voice
Imagine if he was alive. I bet that he would've loved his biopic.
It is the only movie honoring his timeless art and not emphasizing on the gossip...
R.I.P. Elvis Presley his songs taught me to feel true power of rock and roll
Elvis still lives in us
"You can't kill the King, baby. His memory is eternal. That's why he's the king. Uh-ah-huh..."
