Being a chef can be a stressful job at times, as it's quite fast paced in restaurants, it all depends on your passion for your craft. Even Gordon Ramsay started out by peeling potatoes in a French kitchen! Many people enjoy cooking solely for loved ones as a past time, others use their knowledge for food cooking channels on UA-cam! There are all kinds. Follow your heart, mate. That's the most important thing you can do in choosing your vocational calling.
You don’t have to cook for the rest of your life after culinary school, you can be a menu designer for example, restaurant consultor, you can specialize in an area for example baking and teach people about it. There’s a plethora of things you can do after culinary school. I’m doing a major in Argentina at the universidad of Palermo I recommend you packing your stuff and taking the leap to Argentina if you have dollars. Is really cheap to live here because of the exchange rate between currency’s and the experience of living in a Latin country is amazing and the meat my friend the meat is on another level.
Aranchini is amazing! Another classic made in school. The best trip we took in class was to Little Italy in Chicago and we went to a place owned by the fourth generation in his family. His nonna made some fresh for us made with peas and pancetta in the filling then served with homemade marinara. My gosh, talk about life-changing! There is truly something magical about eating old school recipes that have been passed down through the years and are made authentically!
I would like to go to culinary school, but really dont know what the time commitment would be and the cost. Cost must be astronomical with all the food costs these days. My dream job would be to cook specialty meals for families of 4 to 6 people, or to do dinner parties 🎉 🤔
You’re passion is a great, and you probably do great in school, I’m just wondering if you ever wanted to become professional? Because everything you’ve been taught in school and showed in your videos are very good for home cooks. You dont graduate a Chef, more like glorified Dish Washer. If you do want to go into the industry, go stage at places that make you uncomfortable teach you how to actually cook, dont hide behind mommy and daddies money.
You are so good at documenting your days! Thoroughly enjoy your content 😊
Love the culinary school videos
Really enjoy the videos and appreciate your enthusiasm and love for what you are doing
You are very passionate about your cooking and I think it's awesome!! Everything looks so delicious. Keep living your best life!
Thank you so much!
I want to go to culinary school, but I’m not sure if I’ll be happy cooking for the rest of my life. Idk what to do.
It’s still good to have in your résumé. If you are passionate about cooking, then go for it
I’m in culinary school and it’s very fun and good experience
