@@tommyebay there's always a lookout for the sgt or COs for a pod coming through so they can put out the smokes and hide the cigs etc. the boy scouts don't know jack compared to an inmate. drugs, cellphones, weapons, you name it you can get it if you have the right people or commissary. like one guy said "what they gonna do if i get caught? put me in prison??"

In some (US) states any death that happens during a Felony (like Felony Fleeing in a car) is automatically 1st degree murder!
I think that it should be so in ALL 50 states (and Districts, Possessions and Territories)!! Maybe that will reduce the number of 100+ mph (161+ kph) chases!!!

Often, the speed of such chases is difficult to tell. But here, the passing by cars and trucks, the fast moving lane markings and the sound of the tires crossing them at full speed, gives a really disturbing sensation how fast this first pursuit is

I often wonder what happens if an innocent motorist is hit by a suspect in a Police Chase. Who covers the damage incurred by the Victims?

Hopefully the suspect has a vehicle insurance that will cover the victim but not the suspect.

cops are cool, here. I have 2 cops that live down my street like 2 houses away and I had a seizure and pulled right in front of there house cause I couldn't see where I was going . when it started ,the guy turned his lights on for a pull over in his driveway cause he was outside.I already was pulled over he helped me get out of the car and take my anti seizure meds.I only had 1 left and he paid for my 3 months prescription. its a shy of 350 dollars.the lady cop and the male officer pulled my car into the driveway.not all cops are bad.I wanted to be a cop like this but Im a felon, I would ditch there drugs down the drain and tell them to go away ROFL....honestly

I always thought California was the car chase capital of the world. Apparently it's actually Arkansas. A lot of people out there wanting to test their mettle against the ASP, I guess.
California has lots of chases, but the cops rarely do anything to apprehend them until the suspect crashes or runs out of gas.
