never ceases to amaze me how many drivers dont react or respond to police lights in these videos, esp at night. its like the cars are on auto pilot with no driver. no one moves over, slows down, or even tap their brake lights

I think that's a Chevrolet Spark or Aveo, and he was making it look like a Corvette with the first trooper, given how he almost lost control of his car chasing it like 3 times in a minute, before losing it for good. The only reason he didn't get away was he chose a long straight road with a small slow car, which is not the play. 10/10 driving, 3/10 strategy.

That's a new one. "I don't have to stop immediately. The law says I have a curtain amount of time". Actually, it does. The amount of time it takes to apply the brakes, pull to the side of the road, and come to a complete stop. You missed that window of opportunity buddy.

There clearly needs to be more penalties and more enforcement of said penalties for people not moving over for police. Its like every single video there is at least one instance of police having to drastically slow down because some nobhead is completely oblivious to the world around them. They have bright LED lights that are colored specifically for grabbing attention AND a very loud siren, also specifically designed to grab as much attention as possible, AND THEY STILL DONT NOTICE.
How we test driving capabilities needs to be seriously reworked
