I know I've already commented but today one of my good customers broke down their flywheel broke up they have a 1.7 cdti Astra j, both my ramps are tied up with major jobs but because of your video I did it in the doorway of the workshop! I normally always drop the entire subfrsme complete with steering rack, the time you saved me today was unbelievable! Just wanted to say thanks! I don't think I'll ever drop a vauxhall subframe again was amazed at the room you get I had enough room to gain about a foot of access and I always used pressure bleeding kit even tho it worries me but again today I didn't And managed to do it with no assistance to lift out gearbox etc Keep up the good work love the videos Thanks

I am speechless. For far the best video from UA-cam. I was myself a mechanic for 10 years and I know how hard is to crawl under the cars find the right position to be sure you are doing a good job. Your work is an amazing job, clean but man what drives me crazy, how the hell did you managed to get the camera in those narrow spaces? I've tried sometimes to get a picture or video but I never managed to get that clear like your video. Even lots of UA-camrs don't have clear videos like yours. All my respect for your work. I don't know how much do you charge but obviously you deserve every penny. And thank you for your video. 👍
I subbed a couple of weeks ago and think this is the first comment I've made? Just to say what great work you do and the videos you post are very detailed, i'm more confident thinking about doing my car's clutch going forward now because of your channel. I've just fixed my clutch by replacing the master and slave cylinder's, after being quoted £600 for a new clutch, which i knew wasn't the problem, it cost me £60 for the two parts! Thanks for the insight and keep up the good work!

I’m looking into one of them canopy that can be mounted to the van .., I’ve tried with the gazebo. I keep having to chase it down the road from the wind. ... But I’ve got good waterproofs.
@Kevin-Albert Williams on 2.0CDTi is it possible to install clutch and pressure plate from Twin Turbo diesel to reduce possibility of slipping on mapped engine? Is it a part that fits one to one ? Or have they used the same part on both engines without any change?
Believe it or not. That DMF has only covered 48.5k miles. A bit of a let down on that original part. Notice the clutch I fitted. It’s a heavy duty self adjusting pressure plate. It partly takes the torque from that 2.0L engine... mind you this is a VXR engine and gearbox.
Hey man, I'm from London and got a similar situation for clutch potentially with master cylinder change required on 2015 Astra J with 1.6 CDTI engine LE line. Is it the same as this 2.0 CDTI on the video? I'm assuming LUK is the best option !

Kevin, where did you get those interlocking mats from?
Either amazon or Halfords.. there’s two kind. The soft ones or the oil /water resistant ones.
I guess the subframe has to come out if your replacing the box? Or do you think it would fit through the gap
I have done it before when replacing gearbox. But you have to work inches at a time and will need steering column detaching from the footwell.
