Drives ok will it be fine
That's put me off doing mine 🤣🤣
Is this the same for the astra j 2.0cdti? Same engine and gearbox?
.
Ok. I'm rarely afraid of getting on back and working on the underside of my car. For the uninitiated its like an aerobics session from the instructor from hell if you're trying to do it in any form of a hurry. By your own. Whilst filming it>!>!>!>!>>!>>?¬!?!??!!??!???? 1 billion percent respect for doing this, that quickly on your own, whilst filming and finishing it before the sun goes down. Wow.
😁🍻🍻.., it’s not too bad of a job. But you’re right filming at the same time does take a while longer ..,
Thanks for the feedback really appreciated
You forgot the Gear Box Oil :)
How do you remember which bolt goes where?
I make sure I place them along a routined path as I work.
Number 1
Just 40 minutes, easy to change, smart engineering. Haha.
hi mate, where did you jack the car in the center? on the rear mount? thanks
Oil sump
@@mikebanda3012 yeah right, try to lift it by the oil sump and you will find out what is gonna happen ;)
@@pinha9009 you can lift from the oil sump with a block of wood aclose the sump am doing a clutch on that model today will send you pictures
@@mikebanda3012 always learned that is ok to lift the engine or hold it the way that you said but not to support or lift the whole weight of the front of the car that way
What tool and size is it to remove the flywheel bolts ?
.Thanks
MegaPaulmusic some models are male torx. Other models are female torx.
MegaPaulmusic the size would be either or male torx 45-50 or female 16-18mm
What ratchet brand do you use in this video?? 🤔
I often think it's easier on insignias to take the engine and gearbox out and work on a n engine stand
