I do so enjoy your channel which pays attention to ladies of a certain age and beyond. I’m 72 so I have some years on you, but it is so much more relatable than me trying to relate to the ladies 20 years younger. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Yes, you look beautiful, inspiring me to do some practicing. I saw a pic saved from FB that made me look like my eyes were done, I usually only wear mascara, but when I see the difference with you and make up, I’m going to go for it. I have nothing else to do with my time these days! Thanks! Love the colors too!
Oh how I love reading this...YES! Go have some fun! ;). Thanks so much for watching today, and hope you find plenty of content you find inspiring and helpful! :)
Aww....what a kind comment to read today. Thank. you! I truly appreciate that you took the time to not only watch, but to write and post this. Hope you have a lovely weekend. ❤️
Jill, You are an inspiration to all of us. Your generosity in sharing your tips/hacks and everything that makes you so gorgeous is so appreciated. You are truly a real person with no pretenses. As I watched your video I am unable to see exactly how you do the tight lining on your eye. I would love to learn how to do that without losing an eye.....or maybe there is another method that may be a little less invasive. Please do a tutorial on tight lining some time. Thanks so much and I watch you all the time!! We love you!
Hi Diane! You are so kind, and I thank you for your nice compliment. Ok, that may be a good idea (tight line video).... you are not the first person that has asked about, and certainly not the only one who struggles with it. It took me a bit to get the hang of it. Happy Thanksgiving! ;)
Hello, beautiful lady! I just turned 65 a few days ago, can afford to use only drugstore priced products and I love ELF sponges, just bought a 4 pack. Heck, I love ELF makeup, too, recently discovered the Bae palettes from Catrice, so nice. I may not be able to purchase the same products you show at times, but I can copy the techniques. You know, it's so hard to find a makeup tutorial on UA-cam done by a woman who is over 50 who hasn't had plastic surgery so I appreciate you (I don't recall you saying you have had any and seems your face is very natural). Younger women or even older women with unlined faces from procedures they've had use products that just do not work on skin with any texture like fine lines and wrinkles. I watch them rave about products that accentuate my skin texture, even though I have fewer wrinkles than many women my age. I'll have to find that lip color, it's so pretty! I, too, need a good lip liner to keep lipstick from bleeding into my mouth wrinkles (that I'm sure I got from drinking through a straw for many years, ick) I also have to use my NYX Lip Primer stick, which helps a LOT. When you do makeup, you always look so soft and lovely, Jill! Have a great week! ~Cynthia
I've only been watching you for two months now and the first thing I have to say is damn girl! I thought you were in your thirties. No lie I really did. When the shot came on with no wig no makeup it didn't even look like the woman I've been watching. Your application of makeup and your choice of wigs takes 20 years off of you. You are absolutely gorgeous done up but I must say you're beautiful without it and part of that beauty is what comes from your inside. I do wish you had shown your brow application. That is the area I have a lot of trouble with especially because I am a natural blond and even at 62 my eyebrows are still white blond. Thank you so much for showing yourself bare and trusting us to see you that way. I absolutely love that wig you're wearing. Because of you I've been looking at Toni brattin wigs. Wish they had the front Lace because I'm losing hair all over but especially top front. Can you add lace to a wig? Again thank you thank you thank you. I have to go shopping now for some new makeup😊
Thank you so much for your kind words. ;). I have a few brow videos ....here is the latest:ua-cam.com/video/uSWjlOnNcbo/v-deo.html. Here is the first one I did, and I do go into more detail about 'shaping' brows. (3 years ago...so quality of video is not that great) ua-cam.com/video/fQE-bFJDZq0/v-deo.html
Same here! I am a fairly new watcher too and saw a different video with no makeup. I thought you were much, much younger Jill! You are still beautiful without any makeup or a wig but you really do know how to put it all together and it all looks so natural! I'm a fan!
Jill Lynn, you and I look a little alike in the "B4" photo, allowing for the fact that I'm much older than you, but you make me feel very inspired to look more like the AFTER photo - or at least my own version of the After photo. I haven't been taking care of myself, being discouraged with aging and some health issues - but every woman (and man) should take care of themself and present their best self, at least the best self that they can - for their own sake. It lifts me up to feel that I look as nice as I can, and it puts a smile on my face. Can I ask you about moisturizers? What do you use? It seems that what I've been using is no longer working for me. You look so lovely!
You look amazing. I now know how celebs get that same look. It gives me hope that I can create a similar look. The wig looks fabulous and natural. I could do with one 😀
I have a drawer full of foundations but I really love the way your skin looks here so I am going to order that Tarte foundation. I like their products overall. I love the brightening idea in the middle of the face. Also, I think I am converted to foregoing the Milano grip cap and just applying a thin layer of It Stays instead. Thanks for this Jill. It is very helpful. It came out beautifully on you. 👩🏻💖
I hear ya....I do too, hence why I decided to use this one! haha! I have been wearing wig grips much more frequently (since just home)...and just put two and two together because I have had much more tension in my neck and little headaches. I must be putting them on too tight or something? I am going to use IT Stays again like I use to...even if just home and wanting to wear one!
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy I had been wearing the grips with most of my Jon Renau and Raquel Welch wigs, with no problem. Then I bought the wig cap and I do like it even better than the grip. But, I just bought a TressAllure Feathered Bob (such a fantastic wig, now one of my favorites -- so light, comfortable, really beautiful) and when I use the grip cap with it, it messes up the lace front. I took the cap off to experiment with just pinning my biohair underneath in two or four sections with those snap clips, the giant ones. And, I applied a thin layer of It Stays across the forehead and the lace literally disappeared. Plus, my head felt light and cool, even with that wig on. (I reviewed it with two pictures on CysterWigs, where I got it with a nice discount -- I am going to buy another one and trim it a bit shorter. I have 75 wigs now and it is in my top 5 along with Kristi and Karlie and a couple of Henry Margu wigs). I may use this system in the winter but return to the wig cap with other wigs during the summer, just to reduce the number of times the piece will have to be washed. Anyway, without the grip, my head feels much better and more natural. xoxo
@@LizLyonsPhD Same....I prefer a low pony and It Stays in front ...and that's it! BUT...if I am wearing Ignite (or styles like that)...the low pony has to go, and usually wig tape is what I use in the nape back there. I will wear wig grips in a pinch, but SO much more comfortable without. ALSO....I am SO checking out that wig you mentioned!
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Oh, yes, I think you will like it. Patti must sell it too. It can be curled and I saw a video of it with some wave put in it, which makes it a bit shorter and it looked gorgeous that way too. It is a very versatile piece and I don't think Tressallure sells anything else like it. It's just wonderful. And there is a rooted blonde that will look gorgeous on you. xoxo
Jill, I apologize for not commenting sooner. I have watched your wig reviews for months. Just had to tell you how helpful they have been, thank you so much for all the wig reviews. I was shocked to see makeup after 50 I thought you were in your early 30s.
Hi Jill. I sooo appreciate all your videos! You have really helped me in my new journey with "helper hair". Now, I am focusing on makeup and have been practicing some of your methods. I have a big question if you happen to see this...how do you know what color foundation to use? I am 69 and I have a bit ruddy complexion (Scottish and English heritage). I think its a bit pinkish. So, what do you suggest?
This was a truly amazing before/after video. BTW, you look like you are doing well in the weight loss area, shows in your face. Hope things are going well with you and yours!!!

Hey Jill, thank you so much for this video. I usually have problems finding a foundation color that matches my skin. I’m fair / cool tone. The closest I’ve found is L’Oréal true match in C2 natural Ivory. What should I try in this Tarte foundation?

Keto help..Hi Jill, I’ve been on keto 4-5 days and I think I can do this, but I’m sad that I can’t have apples, bananas, peanut butter or sweet potatoes. If I have a sweet craving sometimes an apple and peanut butter will suffice. Are we allowed low carbs or no carbs at all on keto? Kim💕
Hi Kim! Here's the thing...the more you can cut out sugar completely the easier it will be for you. That's why fruit is really avoided ( you can have some berries)... Peanut butter is not allowed if you are at all concerned about dealing with inflammation. It's a legume, and they are inflammatory. Your sweet cravings will go away once you avoid and eliminate sugar in all its forms. ;)
