Making use of the pallet wood by processing and installing some flooring in the pallet cabin. Nothing too fancy, a portion of it will be covered by carpet or a rug. - Навчання та стиль
Gr8 job. I took a shortcut on my motorcycle through a business ally and saw stacks of pallets just sitting there near the trash. I went there the following day but they were gone. So every night just after work I would race home and find out when that store would close and I helped myself to those pallets. This was going on for about several weeks until a guy complained that those were his pallets and then he got nasty with me. So I asked him his name but he wouldn't give it to me. So the following day I took those pallets again, and again, and again before he caught up with me again carrying a bat. So I pulled my taser gun that looks more like a pistol and held it with in my light jacket. He got the message and took off. Several weeks later I had more than I needed and made my own two toosl to break them down without splitting the wood. Then I hired to laborers to break them down. They were done in 6 hours and I paid them for what they get in a day and treated them to dinner. So I took that wood to a friend who owned a jointer and a planer and asked him the cost for new blades. Whoa! Not cheap. But I purchase new ones for each of his machines as a way of thanking him for the use of his machines. And after I donned a painter's mask I began to mill all the wood and would assemble them together using glue and dowels. Once I was done with all the wood, I leveled my garage floor with leveling compound and once done with that I started putting sections of wood together on the floor that was covered with a water proof membrane. When all the wood was down I sealed it first a few times before sanding it and finishing it off with floor resin.

great work doing a few projects with them too great material and eco-friendly too! Plentiful!
i like pallet on floor as compare to wall. did u sanded as well or they are by default of same size
You should try to go over them with clear epoxy.
What nail gun is that? And what type/size nails did you use? Great project!
Ryobi cordless 18ga nailer. I think i was using 1 1/2" brad nails
Did you have to plane these all down first?
I'm planning on doing this in my house and have access to all the pallet wood I could ever want. But the thickness isn't always the same.
I did have to. Lots of shavings 😀

Mine works too. I used the Woodglut plans and performed it without any problems.
