I should have included text/video to explain. I was in one of the thru traffic lanes that was jammed as usual this time of day. I was making about 10MPH due to traffic ahead of me. The right lane is a turn only lane and was less crowded, thus moving faster. The driver misjudged the speed of traffic ahead, thus the fast lane change. I was sure he would hit me, he was that close. No worries. I live in Los Angeles but used to live in Pasadena. I would dread driving the 110 into downtown. Im glad your ok. been watching the channel for 10 years and would hate to hear if something happened.
I don't think he was intending to change lanes. He just misjudged the speed of traffic ahead of him. I was doing 10 MPH due to a traffic jam in the left lanes. The right lane is a turn only lane and moving faster. GFM

close call? it was certainly done on purpose, since you were going slower than all the other traffic and in the middle lane to boot. not saying you/they shouldn't be law abiding, but going slower move it on over. 🥸
Perhaps I should have added some text/video to give a better view. I was on a thru traffic lane that was in a traffic jam which is normal at this time of day. @@grayfurnaceman context is a huge key in all of life's situations, it means a lot to younger folks, even if they don't want to learn nor recognize the severity and are combative and deny teaching(NOT AUTHOIRITY), sometimes teachings involves force, like being paddled by in school office and home(only when you/kids did very bad things) never me 🥸 I could have used far more spankings/paddling as an totally rotten kid, now I'm just an rotten adult(about middle age as they claim). you're around to 20 years my senior, which I fully respect, but I'll still give you the stink eye when you shorthand videos and explanations not in-depth enough that I know anyone younger or not in any trades will understand. I'm not a teacher either and never will be and I think you're a good person. 😁
I wonder how often this kind of close calls happen to us, but we are not aware of them without cameras.

Trailing camera. This exact thing happens frequently. Passing on the Right Side and cutting it short.

The car behind this car filming was following WAY too close, it's in the 5 hour course and would be at fault for an accident.
