  • Test and train your cerebellum with 5 dots! Why should you care?!
A healthy brain can do all the background tasks as well as cognitive control activities much better, which improves quality of life. Quality of life is the truest and best goal and result you can obtain from your training.
You’ll learn a powerful drill you can do anywhere with five post-its to train your brain. It may look like “just a hand/eye coordination drill,” which it is, but so much more.
There are many brain areas, but why the cerebellum? We’ll cover that in this week’s blog as well.
This drill is also the test, so give it a try and let us know how you do. Then keep training your cerebellum.
P.S. Remember to assess and reassess, so you know how your brain likes what you did.
    Video Highlights:
    - What controls movement.
    - Easy assessments.
    - Step by step drill sequence.

I like this exercise and found it while searching for “improving cerebellum health”. I was discharged from Occupational therapy 2 years after a stroke although I still cannot use my left arm, hand or shoulder. This looks like an exercise that I can do with both sides of my body although I’ll have to imagine moving my left side. Even when it doesn’t actually move, I think it may be good for neuroplasticity. I feel I have to tackle my issues from the brain side of it as I find it very difficult to work on even tiny finger movement exercises on my own. I have a hard time muscling through my spasticity. I’ll update you with any progress I notice. Thank You!

If you are bent over or leaning forward and use a walker to stand straighter, or sitting position can you do this exercise from a seated position? After a stroke.

I have mal de debarquement from a 6 hour night flight for the past five years. Do you see patients with MdDS and can provide other exercises for people who feel they are constantly swaying, rocking and bobbing as if on a boat 24/7? Thank you.

unfortunately, i could only do this test with one eye becuase i can't see out of the other one except for general shapes/colors. i'll try it either way with both eyes though.

I was hoping this might be something I could do with my granddaughter who has ADHD. She is blind in her left eye so doing that side would be impossible.

I use right hand to write, so I should close my right eye while doing this things or I should close left side eye for one set and right side eye for the second set?
