I've been loving Claire's lava nails. Polygel seems much more tolerable than acrylic (because there's no monomer smell) but it does take forever lol. You did a great job.

@@mckenny5505 Press with the flat of your finger and not the tip like you would normally type. It takes a while to get used to it.
My absolute fave thing is that you show us your mistakes too. Not many will do that. && it’s just awesome that we can see how you fix your mistakes && when we hit those mistakes, we are prepared!

You could brush on a jelly polish before you add the drops to make the “background “ liquid a color. These are so cool, and I can’t use acrylic so I love watching you work with polygel!

I work at a nail salon and a client came up to me and asked me to do her nails like one of your old nails that you showed in the recreating old nails, they turned out bomb♡
The lamp beeping is useful to know when to take your hand out, however for me personally when I switched to one that doesn't beep I find it better, especially when I'm doing my nails in the middle of the night 😅 and everyone is sleeping
I love the bit about color changing because that’s totally what I get like when I’m over doing my nails and it’s been hours and it’s like 1 am 😂🤷🏽♀️

Lava lamps have oil and wax inside them. To answer your question ☺️. The oil heats up and the wax melts and floats up and down. As kids my sister had one and she knocked it over while it was on and thankfully no oil or wax touched her at all. That could have caused insanely serious burns. So be careful to anyone who has/wants to get one ☺️
