The gold ring with the slots on it is actually for the o rings! You can grip an o with some pliers, slip the o into a slot on the ring and twist to open them up! 😊💕

My friend used to put regular nail polish on the inside of fake jewelry, so maybe you could try that? I just made a polish mixing plate from polygel colors I didn't like a few days ago. Making things out of polygel or acrylic is so smart especially if you don't like the color/consistency of it.

I made a few rings a few months ago and they’re so cute! Also, From what I understand, as long as the PolyGel is cured, you should be fine as far as contact dermatitis goes.
I think so too but I just wanted to put that out there for people who may not even be aware of it!
I understand having lots of hobbies and having a hard time catching up, it's a lot of things and a lot of money! I think that if you made rings for sets that would be really cute but I don't think that you need to push yourself to do it for every set!

Loving the idea of matching rings for the nail set. And I absolutely support you using nail supplies bc makes a lot of sense and it's more sustanaible. Oh! For protecting your skin my mom always "coated" my cheap metal rings with regular transparent nail polish because both of us were allergic to some metals and that worked. Maybe it's not very scientiffic... 🤣

I make and sell press on nails and I never thought to use polygel and molds to make my own nail charms. This is so cool. I have a TON of clear polygel that I don't use anymore, so this is absolutely perfect. Thank you for this video!

I shifted to using my polygel for all manner of things including making jewellery, not long after I got it around 18 months ago- cuz boy did I not have a knack for working on my opposing hand. I even fashioned a replacement part for the brush head of my vaccuum cleaner hahaha 😆... Handy dandy stuff.

I found out about this months ago and made some really pretty rings using nail forms mainly to use when taking photos of my nails. It's a fun thing to do! And a great way to use nail art stuff I wouldn't normally put on my nails

I saw kirsty meakin from naio nails do something similar to thing like a year or so ago! She made a ring with a little palette with nail art supplies so you can have different colors on the palette and you don’t have to keep going back and fourth

Hi Emily Susannah, the brass "ring" in your jewelry making kit is a jump ring holder. You put it on your finger and the openings in the ring help you hold the jump rings while you use your jewelry pliers to open the ring and attach your pendant to the ear wires or such. I love your videos BTW and have learned a ton.
