Same.. I want to see that too. And I love that she's so real and shows all the process even the mistakes. Most youtubers act like they never make mistakes and cut them out of their videos. But she's from my hometown and out here people are either 100% real or 100% fake lol there's no grey area, and she's 100% real.

I have the smallest nails ever and I never find tips that actually fit without fiiling them A LOT, like, I usually use the 5th or 6th (out of 10 sizes) biggest tip for my thumb and i file the other tips... Even that one she showed looked big for my pinkie 😭😭

When you asked who’s nails are that small. I was talking to the screen like a kid watching blues clues like “me, I have small hands and tiny nails.” Those are the dual form I use.

You really suited that coffin shape nail with the length of it as it was, they suited your finger shape very well. You should definitely try a full set of them. I’m going to get myself some full cover tips to try out with polygel. I normally use forms.

For sure would like to see the dual form tips. I have tried the polygel and unless I put it over a tip I can not get the polygel to stay on my nails for very long. I love that you try all different types of way and products for at home/DIY nails. You make it look fun and not overwhelming so makes me feel like I can do it as well. Hats off to you...
honestly those tips would fit my nails so well!! i have the tiniest nail beds ever, and that smallest one you had up would probably fit my pinky!! i usually have to file them down or just use foil nail forms all together

I've discovered this method by accident just a few days ago when I badly prepped my Kiara Sky gelly tips. When one fell off, what remained was a thin, but perfectly formed nail base. Now I came here and HALLELUIAH!
I sculpt my own nails but this is perfect for the days when you have no time or shaping just won't and won't go. (you know we all have them days)

I was looking on Amazon for pinching clips and found a set of dual forms/tips that come with clips specifically designed to hold the form on while curing. Like the shape of the clips wouldn't work for pinching, but they are curved on one side to kind of fit to the nail. I'd love to see you try them out

I’m really glad you posted this because I have seen these videos all over and I wondered if it actually worked. To be honest, I hate poly gel because of how long shaping and filing takes (for me, it never comes out perfect out of the dual form). These make it look so much easier! Plus, I’ve been trying out more nail shapes, instead of just sticking my normal short square. So this would make shaping the nail easier when you don’t really know what you’re doing.
I’m also curious about what nails work and what doesnt. Because I know some nail people here on UA-cam that do the “lazy girl method” and literally just put the poly gel under a clear press on nail and they wear it that way, without popping the nail off.
I ordered these off amazon yesterday and these are being delivered very soon! I can’t wait to try them!!!

I always enjoy your videos because you’re always like to try so many different things that other nail techs and UA-camrs don’t do so I always find myself binge watching you and I’m 69 years old I do my own nails so I just love this stuff
I have always hated dual forms, I watched this video and bought them RIGHT AWAY and this is 100% my favourite way to do nails. I usually use regular tips as dual tips, but these fit my nails so much better than regular dual forms, they actually work. Definitely can confirm that they are tiny! I've never had dual forms small enough for my pinkies and index fingers, and there is still one size too small for me in here.
Do they have bigger ones?

I use full cover tips for the dual forms method since it's what I have on hand for making press-ons too. I figure why buy another nail supply when I have so many tip sizes and shapes already! Nice to see this comparison side-by-side to show me the method I use works just as well.

Someone asked if you could use dual forms with the Qikgel and Markartt replied it was not a good idea, so I'm interested in how long they last, etc. So I think that's why you had more success with regular polygel -- the builder gel is a thinner consistency. Love these type of videos (testing different ideas).

If you let the polygel cool for a min after curing the dual forms pop off easier. Also the first layer of polygel with glitter you want to encapsulate cure first separate from your nail. The add the next layer and cure to your nail. It helps for the glitter not to move. Hope that makes sense. From one self taught nail enthusiast to another💗💅
Sitting here laughing at your explanation of dual forms for baby hands. I'm 31 and my bestfriend and I have tiny hands with even smaller nail beds lol! I have to buy fake nails from Claire's or the kids sections because that little one you held over your pinky nail would fit mine perfectly. Nail techs always comment on how "childlike" my hands are. Now I know what forms I can buy that will work! I'm always wasting so many forms/nails because I can only fit the 3 or 4 smallest sizes. Thank you for this! 💜

The matte white w butterflies came out so much cooler than I thought it would! I know its short for you, but Im loving the length... thats like my version of extreme long. Id love to try this, but think the full cover E Nail Couture nails I have would bond, since theyre gel... Makartt are on my list! And Id love to see dual form tips!

I've used Makaart tips as dual forms before but they came out super thin. They peeled at the cuticles and broke in half at the tip end. I'm finally having success with polygel directly on my nails (using calcium gel as my base because regular base for some reason pops off me)
Im so glad to see these. My actual nail bed sizes are small like my pinky is a 9-10 so I’ve been looking for smaller sized forms

I found these a couple months ago and I also found them way to small, so I mostly just use what fits and use regular nail forms on other nails, I don’t mind having different shapes in my sets!
I tried this earlier & I used ECBasket nails & it worked really good ~ I am so jazzed about this!!!!!!

I use the makartt ballerina press on nail in clear and do this but I go a little more thicker in the back to make it more sturdy. But they look really good , 4 weeks so far they are still holding strong. My nails growth is ridiculously slow 🐌, so if you have the same issue this method is the bomb. Is the first time doing it like this, but well worth it. Just file the back of the press on clean it and put the polygel to stick it to the nail half way the top, cure and fill the rest of the back to the top with the polygel. If it's too thick file it with a nail drill, in no time you have file free , perfect cuticle nails.

You can get Stiletto Dual Forms - proper designated dual forms not tips from Gelor. I think I got mine from Glitter Planet. I tried them and you get a serious snatched Stiletto nail. You barely need to file if you haven't over filled your form. My tip for thickening up the nail is just to take a gel brush and take a quantity of polygel and add it on the the nail. You now already have an excellent guide to follow on your nail which makes it really easy. Your just adding a few layers over the top of the initial nail you create.
If the nail is bending its usually because it is not fully cured. ALWAYS cure the nail again, and the more transparent the quicker they are, THEN add more layers but don't add more layers on a bendy nail as you will always have uncured material sitting against your nail bed. This can cause allergic reactions that once they start only stop when you stop using the products. That would mean no more nails ladies. Eeek! No thank you mam! Lol 😆
One snag...sizes run quite small, I think they have been geared toward the Asian market so far.

an hour late bc of my nap after online school 😔 but glad I can relax now and watch your video !!! 🥰
I use the makarte coffin tips (idk how to spell it) I rough up the inside with an e-file and use a base coat on my nail and apply a small amount of poly gel in the tip and hold it to cure it for 30 seconds and then cure the whole hand for a minute at the end then i buff and paint. This method makes my nails last 3-4 weeks and if one pops off (this is rare) i put it back on with nail glue
