Mine is a 6 year old battery and dealer charged for 24 hours and says it's weak and will go kaput maybe within a day or 2 if not used continuously on the car. Once the baking soda is added, the acid is completely neutralized. The chance of reversing that process is very slim. Send that junk to the recycle center near you.
Don't waste your time on doing this process. If this really worked and worked well, everybody would be doing it, especially now that the cost of a battery has increased so much.

My Russian friends says, if you add vodka to the lead acid battery. It becomes lithium titanete battery. Also as we Turkish and we add Raki, so the battery became lithium Turkish delight battery.

If you didn't pour it down the drain, how much does it cost to dispose of the liquids? How does this compare to purchasing a new, technologically more efficient battery? I have actually had good luck with those cheap desulfators. You do need to have a battery that has twelve volts though. Most batteries will charge to twelve and then short out when you hit them with a big load like a starter. But a desulfator hits back with a reverse pulse once in awhile and re liquifies the crystals that short out the plates. It takes many many days,but they do work. And you can buy them cheap as dirt. Used it on a trolling motor batter,and one car battery.

Sixfold low Ambridge for 20 4:00 after that, then I put it on a regular charge and bring the battery back up with a regular charge. At an auto parts store I managed years back, we stocked battery acid, mostly for our own use to fill the dry charge batteries we stocked, however, I sold it on occasion to those who requested it. It came in about a 5-gallon carton.
You can reuse the electrolyte just got to let the creds settle down to the bottom and if you add a bit of cadmium sulfate in each cell you will never have to do that again
What I found works really really good is to completely drain the battery, then hook a battery charger up backwards, make negative your new positive post, melt off the negative and positive indicators on the plastic cover with a soldering iron, and melt in your new + & - symbols next to each post, then slow charge the battery for a few days in reverse polarity, the old sulfated plates will now rejuvenate themselves because the polarity is reversed and the sulfated plates will release from the plates, and the battery gets stronger and stronger the more its used and recharged, its just as strong as a new battery again. Try it, you'll be surprised at how well this works, and you don't have to mess with the acid or anything, just reverse charge the battery, thats it. But only do this with lead acid batteries NOT lithium batteries. 🤔🧐😎👍

De míg fel nem töltöttem az akkut addig a dugókat nem teszem helyre, mert pezsegni fog a sav. A gépkocsiban azért állítjuk be a töltést 14,4 Voltra, cellafeszültség 2,4 Volt mert itt még nem indul pezsgésnek a sav. Ugyanis egy akku akkor van feltöltve, ha a cellafeszültség eléri a 2,73 Voltot, a savsűrűség pedig 32 fokot és nem változik 1 órán keresztül.

All arrivo ai centri di distribuzione vengono scaricate dai container disimballate poi gli operai le "inizializzano" (vine inserito l elettrolita) vengono sigillate (chiuse) oramai sono poche quelle che hanno i tappi a vista, vengono attaccati gli adesivi, ursuss, bosch, varta, fiamm, ecc ecc ecc reimpilate sui pallet e spedite ai sottocentri di smistamento dove poi arriveranno ai rivenditori, autoricambi, brico, ecc ecc ecc.Poiche si dice che non tutte le ciambelle escono perfette col buco, la stessa cosa vale per le batterie! Una volta inizializzate vengono fatte dei test con apposito strumento che dira se quella batteria e uscita "col buco" quindi in grado di durare al massimo delle sue possibilita di norma 5 anni! o ne uscita senza! quelle che escono senza non vengono ritirate e rispedite indietro perche presentano un leggero difetto di fabbrica ma vengono impilate a parte sempre sui pallet e spedite comunque con la differenza che verranno etichettate come vendita in offerta!! Su lotti interi di container non ce ne sono tante ma ci sono!Si preferisce svenderle a un prezzo piu basso di quelle altre e alimentare comunque la domanda del mercato! sicuramente risparmi qualcosa ma ci fai 2anni/2 anni e mezzo non di piu!! Questo processo che viene mostrato e solo un pagliativo! giusto per emergenza! giusto da dire ecco ricollego la batteria e la centralina riesce a fare il check poi una bella spinta butti la seconda e metti in moto ma nient altro! La soda di certo potra sciogliere le scaglie che hanno messo in corto le piastre ma non potra mai ripristinare la piastra stessa!. Non lo sapevi?? Ora lo sai

What I found works really really good is to completely drain the battery, then hook a battery charger up backwards, make negative your new positive post, melt off the negative and positive indicators on the plastic cover with a soldering iron, and melt in your new + & - symbols next to each post, then slow charge the battery for a few days in reverse polarity, the old sulfated plates will now rejuvenate themselves because the polarity is reversed and the sulfated plates will release from the plates, and the battery gets stronger and stronger the more its used and recharged, its just as strong as a new battery again. Try it, you'll be surprised at how well this works, and you don't have to mess with the acid or anything, just reverse charge the battery, thats it. But only do this with lead acid batteries NOT lithium batteries. 🤔🧐😎👍

A gépkocsiban azért állítjuk be a töltést 14,4 Voltra, cellafeszültség 2,4 Volt mert itt még nem indul pezsgésnek a sav. Ugyanis egy akku akkor van feltöltve, ha a cellafeszültség eléri a 2,73 Voltot, a savsűrűség pedig 32 fokot és nem változik 1 órán keresztül.

Quand une batterie est fini et bien elle est fini, pour cause les plaques de plombs sont dégradées, et les séparateurs aussi, alors tu ne peut plus charger la batterie comme avant elle ne gardera plus sa charge.
