There you go.....this is what I experienced as well. ENtire room was dark...then neon drum sticks. Their live shows are the best concerts I have ever been to. And I have been to more than my share of concerts from some of the best bands ever.
When on July 15, 1994 at the Pontiac Silverdome they came out after their break and play start to finish all of DSOTM.( first time since 1974) Made me think this maybe the the going away tour. Then after this last concert at Earl's Court, played 14 days in a row sold out that this was the end.
This song is 50 years old now. Dark Side of the Moon came out in 1973, alot of these effects have been around for decades, maybe just refreshed. The drums he was playing in the beginning are called "Roto Toms" they can be adjusted as they're being used to change the sound.

You can hear music and you can hear Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd takes you on another higher Level of Music. It’s an out of body experience. I see Pink Floyd and David Gilmour and Nick Mason live. After that you have another Level if you hear Music .
My mother was born near the end of WW2. I tried to turn her on to this song. But she told me time is not a constant; Time is what you make of it. She passed away 2 weeks ago, but I still remember those words.

I was there for both shows in the Silverdome. My head told me to buy tickets for both shows......and I am glad.
