Sometimes life just takes over and we forget about what’s important. As someone who works and lives alone while travelling, I often have to stop what I’m doing and contact people I love and make sure they know I’m thinking about them.
I've been thinking about this kind of thing A LOT. Life is so fickle. We really have no say in a lot of what happens. I try so hard to make others feel safe and accepted and like things can be good at least for a second, but it's not easy. Today is one of those days when I'm trying to find my center, as you said. I have been fighting with my mom a lot, and one day I thought parents are the most precious people you have in your life. And I just made one thing my mom asked me for a long time to do, that would help her make her dream come true. I am so glad I did that, her reaction was so warm. Having undergone a massive surgery a few weeks ago to remove huge tumors from my abdomen, fully knowing it’s not a cure but only a way to give me some extra life, this video is a timely message for me. As a mom of a wish kid, thank you Casey. My son has been gone for almost 15 years but the days we spent during his wish trip are still the fondest memory of my life. The length of a persons life does not reflect the value of that life.
I love what you said about not getting caught up in the bullsh*t and remembering about what truly is important. For me, I often let my career and petty problems get the best of me but then I have moments like these where things gets put into perspective and I remember we are only a speckle in the span of eternity and our lives here on earth is best lived serving others instead of ourselves. I think at the end of the day, knowing that I am loved and pursued by a God who created me for a purpose is what gives me hope, it makes life seem meaningful and purposeful after all!
I'm sorry for your loss. I work full-time at night, have 3 teenager sons, and I recently brought my Grandmother home with us, and take care of her full-time in the day. A lot of ppl told me not to, because it would be hard. Well, it is, but you know what, at least she is here with family. I would suffer a thousand years rather than not bring her home with us and give her the honor and dignity she deserves in her time of need and her last days. I have not always been a real outgoing ppl person, but I am a caregiver and I recently started allowing more ppl in my life because without others in it, it isn't a life worth living. I recently found your channel while reading Tools of Titans, fell in love with your style of film and was inspired to act on my desire to begin filming, BUT THIS VIDEO is one of the most incredible, down to Earth, emotional/inspirational videos I've seen. I felt compelled to comment just to say THANK YOU, Casey. Thank you for looking out for others, spreading the word about what's most meaningful in life, and thank you for sharing about the young man's foundation. Thank you for bringing value to the lives of others. Loss is something almost all individuals will know at some point in their lives, and while it isn't something to fear, it is definitely something to keep in mind to ensure we live life to the fullest and leave the best impressions on all we come across. Again, thank you.
Having undergone a massive surgery a few weeks ago to remove huge tumors from my abdomen, fully knowing it’s not a cure but only a way to give me some extra life, this video is a timely message for me. I’ve been given the gift of some additional life and quality of life, and I plan to make the most of it.
I can relate. Many of us leave too soon or unexpectedly. Live your best life while you can everyone. Never take a second for granted!
Good reason why you should never judge people from the outside. Often times people who are very sick don't give off the appearance of it. Sad to hear about Errol. Reminder to treat everyone with kindness

My heart goes out to Errol’s family. We can all lean what is possible by looking at what Errol was able to accomplish in the time he had been given. If we all put in the effort like our time is fleeting (it is) what amazing things we could do together. Donated so that future parents will hopefully not have to experience their own heart breaking loss.
As a mom of a wish kid, thank you Casey. My son has been gone for almost 15 years but the days we spent during his wish trip are still the fondest memory of my life. The length of a persons life does not reflect the value of that life.

I love what you said about not getting caught up in the bullsh*t and remembering about what truly is important. For me, I often let my career and petty problems get the best of me but then I have moments like these where things gets put into perspective and I remember we are only a speckle in the span of eternity and our lives here on earth is best lived serving others instead of ourselves. I think at the end of the day, knowing that I am loved and pursued by a God who created me for a purpose is what gives me hope, it makes life seem meaningful and purposeful after all!
I'm sorry for your loss. I work full-time at night, have 3 teenager sons, and I recently brought my Grandmother home with us, and take care of her full-time in the day. A lot of ppl told me not to, because it would be hard. Well, it is, but you know what, at least she is here with family. I would suffer a thousand years rather than not bring her home with us and give her the honor and dignity she deserves in her time of need and her last days. I have not always been a real outgoing ppl person, but I am a caregiver and I recently started allowing more ppl in my life because without others in it, it isn't a life worth living. Thank you for sharing with us as always.
This was amazing Casey and yes it's true sometimes we just don't stop and look at our loved ones and tell them that we love them, that we really care about them, and it's a scary thing sometimes to think from one day to another we can be gone or they could be gone. Cherish and be grateful for every moment and every day and for every single person who makes your life better in anyway possible ❤️

It's great to take time to reflect, morn, and to analyze life. Sometime you have to recenter on what's important in life, and this video is a good example of that. Well said! All to often we get caught up in the wrong elements of life, and we often forget why and who we are living for, because our focus is elsewhere. We let the world take over and forget to close the door and just share with those we love most. Thank you Casey.
As an orphan I don't have a lot left to lose. So I don't mind taking risks that much since they seem small in comparisson to the loss I already experienced. I do think about my mortality almost everyday as one of the consequences. Which is sometimes a good thing but often teriffing as well.
